What should I pay attention to after chin surgery

After hyaluronic acid is injected into the chin, there will generally be redness and swelling for a period of time, and sometimes some itching. These are normal postoperative reactions and are closely related to the individual's physical condition. For some people, the pain may go away after a few days, while for others, the jaw discomfort may last longer. After the operation, you need to keep your face relaxed and try not to have too many facial expressions to facilitate recovery as soon as possible.

1. Please avoid touching the injected area within 6 hours after hyaluronic acid chin augmentation to avoid the side effects of hyaluronic acid chin augmentation. During this period, you can gently use clean water and soap to clean and lightly remove makeup.

2. Avoid extremely hot or cold places until the initial swelling and redness after injection disappears. Please avoid exposure to high heat environments (such as saunas, etc.) for at least two weeks after treatment, as this may cause the hyaluronic acid injected into the face to be quickly decomposed, thereby shortening the filling effect. Do not touch or massage the injection site.

3. After injecting hyaluronic acid to fill the chin, there will be slight redness, swelling, itching, and the skin may feel granular depending on your individual constitution. This is normal. Do not press the injected area within one week after the injection, and moisturize it to promote the effect.

4. The recovery time after hyaluronic acid chin pad surgery is about 5-7 days. The swelling will start to subside from the second day, but the fixation band must be worn for three days to reduce the swelling and discomfort of the wound.

5. The sutures inside the chin of the hyaluronic acid pad will be removed about ten days after the operation, and some will fall off on their own; the sutures of the subchin incision can be removed about 5 days.

6. After hyaluronic acid chin augmentation surgery, you should pay attention to oral hygiene and eat liquid food as much as possible, gradually transitioning to prevent excessive movement of the chin that may cause the prosthesis to move.

7. Do not participate in any sports that may cause vibration or impact to the face within a few weeks after hyaluronic acid chin augmentation surgery to prevent accidental displacement of the prosthesis due to collision, leaving side effects of chin augmentation.

8. After a period of time after the hyaluronic acid chin augmentation surgery, you will feel your expression is a little stiff, and it will be a little uncomfortable to speak and smile. This is because the wound is recovering and the patient is not yet used to the prosthesis. So don't worry too much.

9. Do not press the injection site within one week after injecting hyaluronic acid. At the same time, you need to do a good job of moisturizing. This can promote the formation of the chin and avoid injection failure and chin deformation.

10. Before the initial swelling and redness after the injection is completely eliminated, you must avoid staying in extremely hot or cold places for too long, such as saunas, sunbathing, swimming, etc.
