Tips for removing contact lenses?

For people who wear contact lenses for the first time, putting them on is difficult, and taking them off is even more difficult. For beginners, whether it is wearing or removing contact lenses, it is very important to master the method. In fact, as long as everyone follows the correct method to wear or remove, it is very easy. Novices can practice more in daily life. As the saying goes, practice makes perfect. Here are some tips on how to remove contact lenses.

1. How to correctly remove and put on contact lenses, please make sure the following two points are ready:

1) Wash your hands before handling the lens, dry them with a lint-free towel or use a dryer;

2) Make sure your nails are trimmed short to avoid accidentally hurting your eyes or damaging your lenses;

1. First, I will teach you how to distinguish the front and back of the lens. It is very simple. Place the contact lens lightly on your fingertips. If the edge is a perfect circle in the shape of a bowl, it is the front and you can wear it. If the edge is curled outwards, it is the back.

2. You only need to use the index finger of your right hand (left hand for left-handed users) to gently hold the contact lens, and then make sure the front of the lens is facing up before you can start wearing it.

3. Make sure your eyes are looking forward, use the middle fingers of both hands to pull the upper and lower eyelids apart; then attach the lens to the cornea, then remove the index finger and look down to make the lens attached to the eye, and slowly relax the eyelids with the middle fingers of both hands.

4. Now, you have successfully put on your contact lenses. At this time, you need to use two fingers to gently adjust the position of the contact lenses so that they fit your pupils better. Then close your eyes and move your eyeballs left and right a few times to make sure the glasses are completely fit and comfortable.

5. Before taking off your glasses, start by washing your hands. At this time, you need to look into the mirror and look slightly upwards; use the index finger of your left hand and the middle finger of your right hand to pull open the upper and lower eyelids.

6. The critical moment has arrived. Be careful not to blink.

Use your right thumb and index finger to gently press both sides of the lower edge of the lens to arch the lens and then slowly take it out.

2. Notes on cleaning contact lenses:

1. When cleaning the lenses, first drop some contact lens solution on the lenses, and then rub both sides of the lenses up and down with your index finger for 10 seconds each. Do not touch the lenses with your fingernails.

2. Rinse the lenses with contact lens solution according to the instructions on the solution package. After rinsing, place the contact lenses in a clean lens case and make sure the lenses are completely soaked in the solution.

3. The shelf life of contact lens care solution after opening the bottle is generally 3-6 months, depending on the different care solutions.

4. The lens case needs to be rinsed every day and disinfected once a week. The lens box should not be replaced for more than 3 months.
