How to improve upturned nostrils

Nostrils that turn upwards are also called upturned noses in life. This situation will seriously damage the patient's personal image. If you want to get timely treatment, you need to be prepared for a long battle. If you use plastic surgery to treat it, it will cost a lot of money and waste a lot of patients' time and energy. In fact, some situations can be corrected naturally. Let's take a look at how to improve upturned noses.

First, how to improve upturned nostrils? There are several characteristics of an upturned nose. First, the bridge of the nose is shorter, the nostrils are more exposed, the angle of the nose tip is larger, and the angle of the nasolabial groove is also larger. In addition to these characteristics, the elasticity of the tissue of an upturned nose is usually less than that of a normal nose. Lack of tissue elasticity is also a common feature of upturned noses.

Secondly, in rhinoplasty for upturned noses, the appearance of the nose should be lengthened, the exposure of the nostrils should be improved, and the blunt angles of the nose tip and nasolabial angle should be lowered. Technically, I use the Japanese nose sculpture technique, with an inward hidden incision to do moderate and sufficient peeling to increase ductility, a two-stage artificial material to pad the nose bridge, and sufficient ear cartilage technology to create a special shape and sculpture of the nose tip cartilage.

Third, of course, rhinoplasty surgery has its limitations, namely the elasticity of the skin. Dr. Che Cansheng told us that plastic surgeons will skillfully stretch the skin as much as possible within the maximum elastic limit of the skin so that the implant can be properly covered by the skin. No risk of exposure. The more implants, the better. If the implants are out of proportion to the skin, the implants will be exposed and cause infection.

Fourthly, the reshaping of upturned nose is the most difficult surgery in nasal plastic surgery. This is mainly because the reshaping of upturned nose cannot be achieved by simply implanting a silicone model, but requires the peeling and relaxation of soft tissues, and sometimes even soft tissue transplantation and repair. Otherwise, contraction of the scar after surgery may cause the already elongated nose to shrink back.

How to improve upturned nostrils? People with upturned noses have tighter nose skin and less elasticity, so if you simply want to rely on injecting foreign fillers to treat it, the effect will be poor. It will only make the bridge of the nose straighter, but the tip of the nose will still not be effectively lengthened or the upturned feeling improved.
