Can a red and swollen throat heal itself?

Can a red and swollen throat heal itself?

Many people's throats are red, swollen and inflamed. This is tonsillitis. It is unlikely that tonsillitis will recover on its own under normal circumstances because this condition is an inflammation. If it recovers on its own, it will cause some impact on the body. Therefore, it is impossible for throat inflammation to heal on its own under normal circumstances. It is more recommended that everyone should improve their physical condition and use medication reasonably.

Prevention

Judging from the above classification, judging from the symptoms alone, eczematous cheilitis is obviously the most serious. However, when we investigate the root cause, we find that no matter how severe the symptoms of cheilitis are, the key to curing allergic cheilitis is to improve the patient's allergic constitution. Once the constitution is improved, the patient will be like a normal person, and will not experience cheilitis symptoms even when faced with external stimuli such as climate change, sun exposure, lipstick, etc.!

First, improve allergic constitution, desensitize safely and effectively, enhance cellular immunity, and fundamentally block the occurrence of allergies. Traditional antihistamines used to relieve allergic symptoms, such as chlorpheniramine, diphenhydramine, phenergan, and astemizole, can temporarily relieve symptoms such as itchy lips and red and swollen lips, but they are all hormone-containing drugs after all, and have central nervous system sedative and anticholine effects. They can easily cause side effects such as drowsiness, weight gain, arrhythmias, and anaphylactic shock. Medically, they are only prescribed to patients with caution, and these drugs cannot cure allergies. For patients with allergic cheilitis, long-term use or application of these drugs can easily cause the skin to become dependent on hormone drugs, and over time, they will develop drug resistance. These drugs gradually lose their effectiveness, and the frequency of cheilitis attacks becomes higher and higher, making it difficult to control in the end.

Second, deeply eliminate inflammation, actively treat lip inflammation, and prevent the damaged area from further infection and deterioration by the outside world. When allergic cheilitis begins to show symptoms such as redness, swelling, and blisters, it means that the oral mucosa has been infected. If anti-inflammatory measures are not taken in time, the bacteria will continue to grow and increase in large numbers, which is most likely to lead to worsening symptoms such as exudation, ulceration, bleeding, and scabs. Therefore, anti-inflammatory measures are essential while desensitizing. The traditional method is to rely on antibiotics such as penicillins, cephalosporins, macrolides, quinolones, etc. for antibacterial and anti-inflammatory treatment. However, for recurrent allergic cheilitis, using it once or twice is not a big deal, but long-term use of antibiotics is obviously not feasible.

Third, the lack of B vitamins can easily lead to allergies, especially when there is a lack of vitamin B2, the body's metabolism will be disordered, and cheilitis, angular cheilitis, dermatitis, glossitis, seborrheic dermatitis, conjunctivitis and keratitis may easily occur. Foods rich in vitamin B2: milk, animal liver and kidney, brewing yeast, cheese, green leafy vegetables, fish, and eggs. If the diet is unbalanced, B vitamins must be supplemented in time to assist OPC in treating allergic cheilitis.

In the process of treating allergic cheilitis, it is very necessary to take active preventive measures. Western medicine ointments, especially those containing hormones, are useless and will only make the skin dependent on them. After the abortion, the disease will recur periodically. We can prevent and treat by adjusting our diet and daily habits:

1) Get rid of bad habits such as licking and biting your lips, and try to smoke and drink less;

2) Eat more fresh vegetables, such as bean sprouts, rapeseed, cabbage, white radish, etc., to increase the intake of B vitamins;

3) Avoid sun exposure as much as possible and drink plenty of water in time. Drinking enough water is very helpful for balancing the body's functions and can effectively prevent chapped lips.
