How to maintain oil leather shoes

I believe everyone has worn leather shoes. Even if you haven't, you should have heard of them. This is a type of shoe made of cowhide. Its color is basically black, and it is relatively resistant to dirt. When dust appears, you can just wipe it off with that kind of cloth. Oil leather shoes are actually similar to leather shoes, but they are made of different materials. Many people don’t know how to maintain oil leather shoes. So how to maintain oil leather shoes?

Leather shoes made of oiled cowhide. Oily cowhide is also a kind of cowhide. It is processed with the latest technology. The surface is smooth, thick, and has a certain toughness and firmness. It is more durable than ordinary cowhide products. Fairly easy to care for. Generally, leather shoes are prone to getting dusty and need to be cleaned with shoe polish every day, which is tedious and troublesome, and gentlemen often worry about it. But it is different with oily cowhide. You only need to prepare a piece of soft cloth and wipe it before going out to restore its original brightness. It is worth mentioning that even if scratches appear on the oily cowhide, there is no need to worry. Just wipe the scratch with a soft cloth and it will disappear. If you don't wipe it off, it will disappear over time. Because it is genuine cowhide, it has the ability to self-repair the skin.

You need to buy improved lanolin for treatment. If you find that the color of the shoes has become lighter, then you need to oil them. Never use ordinary shoe polish!

(1) Banana peels contain tannin, which can be used to wipe off grease on leather shoes (or bags), leaving the leather surface as clean as new.

(2) Reusing leftover or stale milk to polish your leather shoes can prevent the leather from drying out and cracking.

(3) When polishing leather shoes, add a few drops of vinegar to the squeezed shoe polish. This will make the shoes shiny and less likely to get dusty.

(4) To polish your leather shoes, add a few drops of water to the shoe polish. After polishing old leather shoes, apply a layer of floor wax and polish with a soft cloth.

(5) Put an old pair of silk stockings or old nylon socks on a shoe brush, dip it in shoe polish and rub it on your leather shoes to make them extra shiny.

(6) Light-colored leather shoes get dirty easily. When polishing your shoes, first apply lemon juice on the shoe surface, then apply shoe polish or brush with toothpaste, and they will be as bright as new.

(7) If white leather shoes or white leather sandals get dirty, first wipe them with vinegar, then wipe them clean with a dry cloth, and then apply white shoe polish. The effect is particularly good.

(8) Clean white leather shoes, apply polish, wipe them with wax paper, and finally wipe off small stains with a wet paper towel to keep them white.
