In daily life, many people go to the hospital because of physical discomfort, and the doctor will recommend patients to do bilateral kidney, ureter and bladder color ultrasound. However, we are not familiar with this color ultrasound, or whenever we mention color ultrasound, the first thing we think of is gynecological color ultrasound and abdominal color ultrasound. In fact, color ultrasound is widely used and can be used to examine a variety of diseases, such as bilateral kidney and ureter color ultrasound, which can determine related diseases of the kidneys, ureters and bladder. 1. What does the color Doppler ultrasound of the kidneys, ureters and bladder check? Generally speaking, it can be detected whether there are space-occupying lesions in the kidneys, whether there are stones in the kidneys, whether there are cysts in the kidneys, whether there is water accumulation in the kidneys, whether the ureters are dilated or narrowed, whether there are stones in the ureters, whether there is inflammation in the bladder, whether there are space-occupying lesions in the bladder, whether there are stones in the bladder, whether there are congenital malformations in the urinary system, etc. You need to hold your urine before the test. 2. Color Doppler Ultrasound of Both Kidneys, Ureters and Bladder Through bilateral kidney, ureter and bladder color Doppler ultrasound, patients can basically determine whether they have bladder disease, kidney disease and ureter disease. Bilateral kidney, ureter and bladder color Doppler ultrasound is simple to perform and only requires external detection in the lower abdomen, and the results will come out quickly. 3. Clinical Application of Color Doppler Ultrasound 1. Vascular disease For carotid body tumors, main abdominal artery aneurysms, occlusive vasculitis, and chronic lower limb venous diseases (including varicose veins of the lower limbs, primary deep venous valve insufficiency of the lower limbs, deep venous reflux obstruction of the lower limbs, thrombophlebitis and venous thrombosis), a more accurate diagnosis can be made by using the high definition, local magnification and blood flow spectrum exploration of color ultrasound. 2. Abdominal organs It is mainly used in the liver and kidneys, but it has certain auxiliary diagnostic value in differentiating benign and malignant lesions in the abdominal cavity, differentiating gallbladder cancer from large polyps, differentiating chronic and severe inflammation, and differentiating the common bile duct and hepatic artery. 3. Heart Real-time volume imaging is used to intuitively display complex cardiac anatomical structures, accurately evaluate cardiac function, and obtain multi-directional two-dimensional sections, which can provide important imaging information for cardiac surgery, cardiology, anesthesiology, catheterization laboratories, etc. It can obtain accurate three-dimensional images of the mitral valve structure, blood, and spatial anatomical relationships, provide intuitive information for surgical repair operations, and evaluate the effectiveness of interventional treatments. 4. Small organs Among small organs, color Doppler has significantly higher diagnostic accuracy than black-and-white Doppler mainly for the thyroid, breast, and eyeball. In some ways, a 10MHz probe without color flow Doppler is much clearer than the ordinary 5MHz black-and-white Doppler. The diagnosis and differential diagnosis of thyroid lesions are mainly based on the internal blood supply of the thyroid gland. 5. Prostate and seminal vesicles This method divides the prostate into the transitional zone, central zone, peripheral zone, and another part of the prostate fibromuscular matrix zone. The transition zone includes both sides of the urethral sphincter and the abdomen, which is the origin of 100% of benign prostatic hyperplasia, while in normal people the transition zone only accounts for 5% of the size of the prostate. The central zone is around the ejaculatory duct, with the apical wall pointing to the seminal duct. The peripheral zone includes the posterior part of the prostate and the apex on both sides, which is the origin of 70-80% of cancers. The capsule at the apex is thin or even disappears, forming an anatomical weak area, which is a common metastasis channel for cancer and a key area for prostate biopsy. Rectal exploration has good diagnostic value for various prostate and seminal vesicle diseases. When combined with prostate biopsy, a clear diagnosis can be basically made. 6. Obstetrics and Gynecology The main advantages of color Doppler ultrasound in obstetrics and gynecology are the differentiation of benign and malignant tumors and the evaluation of umbilical cord diseases, fetal congenital heart disease and placental function. It has better auxiliary diagnostic value for trophoblastic diseases, and can make diagnoses of infertility and pelvic varicose veins that are difficult to make with black and white Doppler ultrasound through blood flow spectrum observation. The use of a vaginal probe has certain advantages over abdominal exploration. |
