How to make cold process soap?

Tools/Materials Oils: (12.0 oz canola oil, 1.2 oz castor oil, 8.0 oz coconut oil, 6.8 oz olive oil, 8.0 oz palm oil, 4.0 oz rice bran oil)

Alkaline water: (5.46 ounces sodium hydroxide (alkaline), 13.2 ounces distilled water)

Natural colorants: red, brown, coffee, white, light brown

Essential oils: 3 tablespoons sweet almond essential oil, 3 ounces cranberry essential oil

1. Oil-water mixing

Grease treatment: Put the grease into the pot and use water-bathed heating to melt the grease into liquid.

Alkali Water Treatment: Pour 5.46 ounces of sodium hydroxide into a beaker, followed by 13.2 ounces of distilled water.

Oil and water mixing: When oil is heated, it will produce temperature, and when alkali and water are mixed, it will also produce high temperature. Use a thermometer to measure the temperature of the oil and water. When the temperature of both drops to 50°, pour water into the oil and then use a blender to stir them into a thick creamy consistency.

2: Add 3 tablespoons of sweet almond essential oil and 3 ounces of cranberry essential oil to the oil and mix well. Next, divide the oil into five equal parts, add five different colors of coloring agents respectively, and mix them evenly.

3: Pour the stirred soap liquid into the mold cup by cup . Then wrap the mold with warm things such as cotton clothes. After the soap liquid is saponified after 24 hours, it can be demolded.

4: Cut the soap into the size you like , and then place it in a cool and ventilated place for 35 days. You can use it after that!
