Composition of succinic ferrous sulfate tablets

Succinic ferrous sulfate tablets are a common drug used to treat iron deficiency anemia. For patients with iron deficiency anemia, such drugs can be used for treatment under the guidance of a doctor. Composition of ferrous sulfate succinate tablets

Each tablet of this product contains 0.1 g of ferrous succinate. Excipients: sucrose, starch, hypromellose, polysorbate 80, sodium carboxymethyl starch, hypromellose, magnesium stearate, talc, film coating premix (gastric soluble).

Dosage and Administration: Oral. For prevention: Adults take 1 tablet a day, pregnant women take 2 tablets a day, and children take 0.5 tablets a day. For treatment: Adults: 2 to 4 tablets per day; children: 1 to 3 tablets per day, taken in divided doses.

Adverse reactions 1. Gastrointestinal adverse reactions may be seen, such as nausea, vomiting, upper abdominal pain, and constipation. 2. This product can reduce intestinal motility, cause constipation, and produce black stools. Contraindications 1. It is contraindicated in patients with severe liver and kidney damage, especially those with untreated urinary tract infection. 2. It is contraindicated for patients with excessive iron load, hemochromatosis or hemosiderosis. 3. It is contraindicated for patients with non-iron deficiency anemia (such as thalassemia).

Note: 1. When used for daily iron supplementation, preventive dosage should be used. 2. The therapeutic dose should not be used for a long time. It should be used after the doctor diagnoses the patient with iron deficiency anemia. During the treatment, the blood count and serum iron level should be checked regularly. 3. Use with caution in the following situations: alcohol poisoning, hepatitis, acute infection, intestinal inflammation, pancreatitis, gastric and duodenal ulcers, and ulcerative enteritis. 4. This product should not be taken with strong tea. 5. This product should be taken after or during meals to reduce stomach irritation. 6. If you overdose or experience serious adverse reactions, seek medical attention immediately. 7. People who are allergic to this product are forbidden to use it, and those with allergic constitution should use it with caution. 8. It is forbidden to use this product when its properties change. 9. Please keep this product out of reach of children. 10. Children must use this product under adult supervision. 11. If you are using other medicines, please consult your physician or pharmacist before using this product.

Drug Interactions 1. Taking vitamin C together with this product is beneficial to the absorption of this product. 2. Taking this product together with phosphates, tetracyclines and tannic acid may hinder the absorption of iron. 3. This product can reduce the absorption of levodopa, carbidopa, methyldopa and quinolones. 4. Drug interactions may occur if used with other drugs.
