How to treat:

1. Proper rest is particularly important for the acute phase (severe redness, swelling and pain), but changing the activity pattern is even more important. Finding out the cause of the injury and making corresponding changes can alleviate the condition. Studies have shown that tennis players with tennis elbow can reduce 90% of the symptoms by reducing the intensity of training and exercising scientifically.

2. Rest, ice compress, fixation, elevation and electrotherapy can control inflammation and allow the tendon to heal in a good environment.

3. Anti-inflammatory drugs can help relieve pain and inflammation. Some people want to quickly reduce pain and choose local steroid injections, but in fact it is harmful to tissues and is therefore not recommended.

4. Acupuncture and massage are effective treatments for tennis elbow today. They stimulate the elbow muscles by needling acupoints. The disadvantage is that the treatment cycle is long. The advantage is that it has no side effects on the body.

5. Arthritis patients should quit smoking, avoid cold, and do appropriate exercise to improve and preserve the function of affected joints to the greatest extent possible and reduce the occurrence of disability. During medication, the patient's condition should be closely monitored and blood routine, liver and kidney function should be checked regularly. It is recommended to go to a regular tertiary hospital for diagnosis and use traditional Chinese medicine for treatment.

Some people want to reduce pain quickly and choose local steroid injections, but in fact it is very harmful to tissues and is therefore not recommended.
