What are the symptoms of prostatic gastritis

The pace of life and work in today's society is very fast, and the pressure is particularly high. Many people still have bad eating habits in their lives, so many people suffer from stomach problems. Prostatic gastritis is a common type of gastric disease and is also the most common type of gastric disease among patients. After the patient develops superficial gastritis, he or she will experience symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite, heartburn and abdominal distension.

Symptoms of prostatitis

1. The most common symptom is upper abdominal pain, accounting for about 85%. The upper abdominal pain in patients with superficial gastritis is mostly irregular and has nothing to do with diet (some patients feel comfortable on an empty stomach but uncomfortable after meals). It is generally a chronic burning pain, dull pain, or bloating in the upper abdomen. Symptoms are often aggravated by eating cold, hard, spicy or other irritating foods, and in a few cases are related to climate changes. This type of upper abdominal pain is not easily relieved by antispasmodics and antacids.

2. Abdominal distension, accounting for 70%. It is often caused by gastric retention, delayed emptying, and indigestion.

3. Belching. About 50% of patients have this symptom. The gas in the patient's stomach increases and is discharged through the esophagus, which temporarily relieves the upper abdominal fullness.

4. Repeated bleeding is also a common manifestation of superficial gastritis. The cause of bleeding is an acute inflammatory change of the gastric mucosa occurring on the basis of chronic superficial gastritis.

5. Others: loss of appetite, acid reflux, nausea and vomiting, fatigue, constipation or diarrhea, etc.

6. Superficial gastritis lacks typical positive signs. Physical examination may reveal upper abdominal tenderness, and a few patients may have weight loss and anemia.

Treatment of prostatitis

1. Eliminate the cause of the disease.

Thoroughly treat acute gastritis; quit smoking and drinking; avoid irritating foods and drugs; treat chronic oral infections, eat regularly, etc.

2. Eat more soft food.

Eat easily digestible food, minimize irritation to the gastric mucosa, chew slowly and allow the teeth to grind the food completely so that the food can be fully mixed with gastric juice.

3. If you have malnutrition or anemia

You should give your baby more eggs, fresh vegetables, animal liver, kidney, etc.

4. People with excessive gastric acid

Concentrated broth and acidic foods should be prohibited to avoid causing more gastric acid secretion. Milk, vegetable puree, starch, bread, etc. can be used. The taste should be light and contain less salt.

5. People with low stomach acid

Thick broth and gravy can be given to stimulate the secretion of gastric acid, aid digestion and promote appetite.

6. Eat less foods that delay gastric emptying. Delayed gastric emptying not only indirectly increases the chance of reflux, but also causes patients to experience various discomforts such as abdominal bloating and belching. This category of food mainly includes some sticky foods, such as rice dumplings, rice cakes, Yuanxiao, and fermented glutinous rice.

Eat less coarse grains, nuts (including pistachios, melon seeds, chestnuts, etc.), various snacks, puffed products, cream cakes, chocolates, etc. These foods can also irritate the stomach lining and increase the chance of reflux.
