There is a blood clot behind the ear hole

Have you ever seen celebrity models on TV wearing dazzling earrings, or seen handsome boys and girls wearing colorful earrings on the street? Unknowingly, earring culture has become a new favorite among young people. You can pierce one ear or both ears. You can pierce one ear or multiple ear piercings. The difference is that each way represents different ideas of young people. I never thought before that ears, which usually only serve as hearing organs, can also express young people’s attitude towards life. But some people have experienced symptoms of discomfort. One friend reported that a blood clot grew behind the ear hole. What is going on?

The blood clot must be inflamed. Next time when you change earrings, remember to disinfect both the ear holes and the new earrings with medical alcohol first. How to prevent ear piercing infection? What if I get inflamed?

After piercing your ears, people only need to change to gold or silver ear studs within a few minutes, or directly insert the silver ear studs into the ears by hand, and take good care of themselves by applying medicine. If the ear studs are not removed or fall off within a month, there will be no inflammation. Friends who have pierced their ears should have experienced this personally. But why do ear piercings sometimes get infected? There are roughly the following reasons:

First, prevent the earrings from falling off accidentally. 1. Choose thick earrings for ear piercing, and use tight plugs on the silver needles with a rod diameter of 0.7mm or above. 2. If the selected silver studs are less than 0.7mm, insert the plastic plugs horizontally into the silver needles to prevent them from falling off for a long time (this method is a professional way of wearing and is not easy to do by yourself). 3. Bend a small ring behind the silver studs (do not bend the straight hook) to ensure that they will not get caught on the pillowcase. For all three wearing methods, there should be a 2mm gap between the earplug and the ear to facilitate ventilation, application of medicine, and rotation.

Second, if an earring accidentally falls off within a month and you want to replace it with another one, you may not be able to put it back in, which may scratch the inner wall of the ear hole and cause inflammation. Within one month after ear piercing, the skin inside the hole needs a process of regeneration. A thin and tender membrane is just formed, which is not enough to resist any slight scratches from the outside. During this period, if the earrings fall off accidentally or get caught, or if you want to change to other earrings but find that you can't put them on, forcing them to fit will cause scratches and bleeding, and inflammation after bacterial infection. Some friends say that they can't get the earrings through because the hole is pierced at an angle. In fact, if you think about it, if the hole is really pierced at an angle, it should be able to go through. So it makes sense to ask you not to take off or wear your earrings casually within a month when you get your ears pierced anywhere. If the earrings fall off accidentally or you are changing them for the first time and you are not sure about it, it is best to find a professional store to help you put them on.

Third, the choice of silver nail quality. The severe pain and inability to put on earrings when changing them are related to the quality of the earrings and the shape of the earring heads. There are many kinds of earrings on the market now. Some kinds have delicate processing technology. The earring ends are cut off and then fired at high temperature. The end faces are smooth and arc-shaped, which are comfortable to wear. Some silver earrings (rings) have simple processing technology. The silver nails are directly processed into finished products after cutting. The end faces of the nails are 90° to the nail rods and have sharp edges. For those who lack experience in wearing earrings, wearing such earrings is more likely to injure the ear holes.

Be sure to pay attention to personal hygiene, after all, your health is the most important.
