How to peel scallops

Scallops are a kind of seafood that we often eat in our lives. This kind of seafood tastes very good, and most seafood with shells tastes delicious and has rich nutritional value. 1. To shell the scallops, boil the scallops in boiling water for 5 minutes, then use a knife to peel them and take out the meat.

2. How to cook scallops: Steam scallops with vermicelli.

Main ingredients: 500g scallops, 50g vermicelli.

Accessories: 1 handful of celery, 6 cloves of garlic, 1 chili pepper, 1 tablespoon of light soy sauce, 1 teaspoon of sesame oil.

1. Soak the vermicelli in clean water until soft.

2. Pry the scallops into two halves, use a knife to remove the scallop meat and clean it.

3. Wash and cut the celery into sections, chop the garlic into minced garlic, and wash and cut the chili into pieces.

4. Put celery, minced garlic and chili peppers into a plate, add light soy sauce and sesame oil, and mix well.

5. Take a shell and put a small amount of vermicelli on it. Add the sauce to the scallops.

6. Place all the scallops on a plate, put them into the pot, and steam them over high heat for 6-8 minutes.

Nutritional value of scallops

Scallops contain Dalta 7-cholesterol and 24-methylene cholesterol, which have the effect of lowering serum cholesterol. They have the unique function of inhibiting the synthesis of cholesterol in the liver and accelerating the excretion of cholesterol, thereby reducing cholesterol in the body. They are more effective than the commonly used cholesterol-lowering drug sitosterol.

Scallops also have the effect of relieving worries. People often have a refreshing and pleasant feeling after eating shellfish, which is undoubtedly beneficial for relieving some symptoms of worries.

Scallops are rich in protein, omega-3 fatty acids, B vitamins, magnesium and potassium, are low in calories and contain no saturated fat. Eating scallops regularly can help prevent heart disease, stroke and Alzheimer's disease.
