What's wrong with the obvious blue veins in the lower limbs

Blue veins are what people often call blue tendons, which are also commonly referred to as veins in clinical practice. There are blue veins in many parts of the human body, but the problem of blue veins is often the easiest to overlook. Obvious blue veins are related to many factors, and obvious blue veins in the lower limbs are also very common. If the obvious blue veins in the lower limbs are caused by disease, you must pay attention to it and treat it in time. So what's the matter with the obvious blue veins in the lower limbs?

1. Varicose veins in the lower limbs

Obvious blue veins on the thighs are usually caused by varicose veins in the lower limbs. You can go to a regular hospital's surgery department for examination and treatment after a clear diagnosis. The "blue veins" that we often talk about in daily life are the veins that can be seen under the skin of the human body. Some adults have relatively large blood vessels; some people engage in heavy physical labor for a long time, and their veins are more obvious than those of ordinary people; some people's blood vessels will bulge to varying degrees after drinking or exercising.

2. Treatment

If the diagnosis is venous, surgery is generally used as the main treatment. If the condition is not serious, elastic stockings can be used for treatment. Pay attention to rest, do not stand for long periods of time, and avoid fatigue. However, no matter which part of the human body has abnormally bulging blue veins, it is a pathological reaction of the human body. Everyone should learn how to observe. Also be careful to avoid standing or sitting for long periods of time. Raising the lower limbs can relieve symptoms such as edema, and wearing elastic stockings can delay the progression of the disease.

3. Others

Because the lower limbs need to support the huge body, the venous pressure increases, and primary deep venous valve insufficiency of the lower limbs occurs, leading to varicose veins. In addition to potential causes such as weak venous walls and poor development of venous valves, the long-term increase in reverse pressure in the proximal segment of the veins and the action on the distal deep venous valves are the main factors causing the disease. The increase in pressure in the proximal segment of the deep veins of the lower limbs, that is, the continuous increase and impact of reverse gravity, first causes the free edge of the valve to relax, stretch, and droop, resulting in incomplete coaptation, and eventually loses its unidirectional opening function, causing blood to flow back and then cause venous hypertension, resulting in venous congestion and dilation. Venous dilation is the result of valve damage.
