The temperature of the bathroom before taking a shower should be such that you don’t feel cold after taking off your clothes. After taking a shower, dry your whole body with a dry towel and put on your clothes as soon as possible.

Choosing and using soap

Don't use too much soap. Just rub the skin with soap once every time you take a bath. Too much soap will irritate the skin and cause itching. People with dry skin, the elderly and children are suitable for using fatty soaps. Alkaline soaps or hot water should not be used for washing, so as not to wash away the sebum, making the skin drier and even flaking and wrinkled. The frequency of bathing can be reduced appropriately, such as once every other day or twice a week. Taking a bath too often will wash away the oil normally secreted on the skin surface and the protective bacteria that normally live on the skin surface, which can easily cause skin itching. The skin's resistance will also be weakened, making it more susceptible to disease. You should not take a bath within one hour after a meal. It is better to take a bath two hours after a meal, or about one hour before the next meal. Drinking a glass of warm water before taking a hot bath can replenish the blood volume in your body. Taking a bath on an empty stomach can easily lead to hypoglycemia, fatigue, dizziness, palpitations, and even collapse.

Moderate water temperature

The water temperature should not be too high and the bathing time should not be too long. The water temperature should be between 37℃ and 40℃. Too high water temperature can cause the blood vessels in the skin to dilate, and a large amount of blood in the body will be concentrated on the skin surface, which can easily cause acute cardiovascular ischemia and cause cardiovascular spasm. If the spasm continues for 15 minutes, acute myocardial infarction may occur; if it is a large-area myocardial infarction, there is a risk of sudden death.
