How to preserve green beans for a long time

When the green beans gradually turn brown and become a little soft, they should be eaten quickly.

1. How to store green beans: Green beans can usually be placed directly in plastic bags or fresh-keeping bags and refrigerated for 5 to 7 days. However, over time, brown spots will gradually appear on them, which is unsightly. If you want to store them longer, it is best to wash them, blanch them in salt water, drain the water, and then freeze them in the refrigerator. But remember to drain the water so that the frozen beans will not stick together.

2. Nutritional value: Green beans are sweet, light and slightly warm in nature. They enter the spleen and stomach meridians to eliminate dampness without being too dry, and strengthen the spleen without being greasy. They are commonly used for spleen deficiency and dampness. They have the effects of harmonizing the internal organs, calming the spirit, invigorating qi and strengthening the spleen, relieving heat and eliminating dampness, and promoting diuresis and reducing swelling. They are mainly used to treat spleen deficiency and dampness, poor appetite and loose stools, dampness and turbidity, excessive vaginal discharge in women, and can also be used for symptoms such as summer-heat and dampness hurting the middle, vomiting, diarrhea and cramps. Fried green beans with meat

Ingredients: French beans, salt, soy sauce, pork

Method 1. Wash the green beans, remove the heads, tails and old tendons, cut into sections and set aside.

2. Wash and slice the pork.

3. Pour appropriate amount of oil into the hot pan and heat it up, add the meat slices and stir-fry over medium heat.

4. Add appropriate amount of salt and stir-fry for 2 minutes. Remove from the pan and set aside. Note: Only take out the meat slices from the pan, leaving the oil in it.

5. Add the green beans at this time, turn to high heat and stir-fry continuously until the green beans change color.

6. Add appropriate amount of salt and light soy sauce and stir-fry for 1 minute.

7. Pour the reserved meat slices in and stir-fry evenly.

8. Add a little water, stir-fry for two minutes when the water is dry and serve.

Stir-fried French Beans

Ingredients: 1 pound of green beans, more dried chili peppers and garlic

Step 1: Wash the green beans, remove the ends, tear off the tendons, and then drain the water. Make sure it is dry, otherwise oil will splash out when frying the green beans, which is very dangerous.

Step 2: Add a little more oil to the pan and fry the green beans over high heat for about 3 to 4 minutes. When the skin is slightly wrinkled, remove from the pan and drain off the oil. Undercooked green beans can cause food poisoning, so make sure they are fried thoroughly.

Step 3: After taking out the green beans, pour the excess oil in the pot into a bowl, leaving some oil in the pot. When the oil is hot, pour in the dried chilies, garlic, and shredded ginger and sauté until fragrant. Chop the dried chilies into small pieces in advance and smash the garlic with a knife.

Step 4: Pour in the fished out green beans, add a little soy sauce, sugar, salt, chicken essence (it is not recommended to eat too much chicken essence), stir fry evenly.
