The role of RNA

The role of RNA

I think everyone should be familiar with RNA. It is a substance we learned about in high school biology. Ribonucleic acid, abbreviated as RNA. It is divided into three categories: messenger RNA, transfer RNA, and ribosomal RNA. Its main function is to realize the expression of genetic information on proteins and it serves as a bridge in the genetic information process. So, what are the specific roles and functions of RNA? Let’s take a look with the editor!

There are three major types of RNA, and their functions are :

1. Messenger RNA : It carries genetic information during gene expression. The genetic information on the DNA is transcribed accurately and without error, and then the base sequence of the mRNA determines the amino acid sequence of the protein, completing the genetic information transfer process in the gene expression process.

2. Transfer RNA : plays a role in identifying corresponding amino acids during gene expression.

3. Ribosomal RNA : It is the main component of ribosomes.

Ribonucleic acid II for injection is indicated as an immunomodulatory drug. It is suitable for the adjuvant treatment of pancreatic cancer, liver cancer, gastric cancer, lung cancer, breast cancer, soft tissue sarcoma and other cancers, and has a good effect in the adjuvant treatment of hepatitis B. This product can also be used for various diseases caused by other low immune function.

Adverse Reactions

1. This product can cause systemic reactions such as dizziness, nausea, chest tightness, palpitations, urticaria, and increased body temperature.

2. Local redness, swelling and pain may occur at the injection site, with a diameter of about 1 to 10 cm, and the reaction lasts about 1 to 3 days.

Precautions

1. If urticaria or fever occurs within ten minutes after administration, stop using the product.

2. If the injection site is red and swollen with a diameter of more than 10 cm, the product should be discontinued.

3. Use with caution in patients with allergic constitution.

Pharmacological Action

This product has the effects of improving the body's cellular immune function and inhibiting tumors. Animal experiments have shown that RNA can significantly inhibit the growth of tumors in tumor-bearing mice, causing the size of solid tumors to shrink or disappear, with a tumor inhibition rate of 68.3%. Pathological histology confirmed that this product can cause vacuolar degeneration and liquefactive necrosis of tumor cells, with a large number of proliferating fibroblasts, macrophages and lymphocytes around them, and even replace tumor tissue with connective tissue.
