It is used for edema, beriberi, dribbling urine, damp-heat disease, diarrhea, leukorrhea, rheumatic pain, tendon spasm, lung abscess, intestinal abscess, and flat warts.

Coix root: clears heat, promotes dampness, strengthens the spleen and kills insects. Treat jaundice, edema, gonorrhea, hernia, amenorrhea, leucorrhea, and abdominal pain caused by worms.
