How to clean a mattress with mites?

The first step is to clean and dust. We can use the vacuum cleaner or mite remover at home to clean the dust, dead skin and other dirt on the upper and lower surfaces of the mattress. The most important purpose of this step is to remove dust and dirt attached to the surface.

The second step is to remove dirt, deodorize, dehumidify and prevent mildew. Baking soda has the function of removing stains and deodorizing. We sprinkle baking soda evenly on the mattress, pat it evenly, wait for 15-20 minutes, and after the odor on the mattress is eliminated, use the vacuum cleaner at home to suck up the baking soda on the mattress, and by the way, suck up the dust and dandruff again. PS: If it is rainy in autumn and winter and the mattress is a little damp, you can sprinkle it with baking soda again to absorb the moisture and prevent mold.

The third step is to sterilize and kill mites. The mattress has been used for a long time and has never been washed. Naturally, there will be a large number of bacteria and mites on it over time. For our health, we must sterilize and kill mites. Alcohol is used this time, and as we all know, alcohol has bactericidal and insecticidal effects. Dilute the alcohol with water and wet the rag. Then use the rag to wipe all parts of the mattress and brush it with a soft-bristled brush. The bactericidal and disinfecting effect of alcohol will make it impossible for bacteria and mites on the mattress to hide. It can eliminate bacteria and mites in 10 minutes.

The fourth step is to remove yellow stains and eliminate odors. If you have a baby at home, there will inevitably be some urine stains on the mattress. Not only will it leave a yellow urine mark, but it will also have a peculiar smell. At this time, we can spray white vinegar on that area, which can decompose yellow stains and remove odors. After spraying white vinegar for 1 hour, press a little bit with a wet towel, or you can use a napkin with good absorbency, until the stains and odors are absorbed cleanly.

PS: If the stains are stubborn and difficult to clean, you can use a toothbrush to scrub them clean, and then blow dry them with a hair dryer.

Step 5: Clean stubborn stains. When women reach their menstrual period, they may get injured or their wounds may fester. These problems will inevitably stain the mattress, and these stains are often the most stubborn. How can you clean them? If the mattress has just been stained, you can soak it in cold water. After 10 minutes, use a wet towel dipped in soapy water to press and wipe it, and finally wipe it dry.
