Introduction to the purpose and usage of liquefied gas pressure reducing valve

The liquefied gas pressure reducing valve is a valve used on liquefied gas. Its main function is to adjust the gas pressure in various parts of the liquefied gas to ensure that the liquefied gas can work normally. In addition, since liquefied gas is a stove that poses great risks, it must be installed in the correct way during the installation and use of liquefied gas to ensure that it can be used normally and will not pose a threat to the safety of the user!

Application and main performance

This valve is suitable for water, steam and air medium pipelines. It can reduce the inlet pressure to a required outlet pressure through regulation. When the inlet pressure and flow rate change, the outlet pressure is automatically maintained within a certain range by the energy of the medium itself. However, the difference between the inlet pressure and the outlet pressure must be ≥0.2MPA/CM.

Installation and Usage

1. Pressure reducing valve Y43H-16 is equipped with 0.05~0.4MPa, Y43H-25 is equipped with 1~1.6MPa, Y43H-40 is equipped with 1~1.6MPa, 1.6~2.5MPa adjusting spring, Y43H-64 is equipped with 1~3MPa adjusting spring. The valve is equipped with 0.1~1MPa spring when leaving the factory, and the rest are attached with the valve. Users can select according to the measured outlet pressure value.

2. Before installing the pressure reducing valve, the piping system must be flushed and cleaned to prevent welding slag, oxide scale and other dirt from flowing into the valve and affecting the normal operation of the valve.

3. The pressure reducing valve should be installed in a place that is convenient for operation and maintenance, and must be installed upright on a horizontal pipeline (see installation diagram). Care should be taken to ensure that the flow direction of the medium in the pipeline is consistent with the direction indicated by the arrow on the valve body. Do not install it in reverse.

4. When installing and using the pressure reducing valve, the stop valve of the bypass pipeline should be opened to remove the condensed water and the mixture of steam and water in the pipeline to prevent the water from damaging the pressure reducing valve when the pressure reducing valve is opened. When there is no abnormal phenomenon, slowly rotate the adjusting screw in a clockwise direction to adjust the outlet pressure to the required pressure (based on the gauge pressure after the valve). After adjustment, tighten the locking nut and screw on the protective cover.

5. A filter should be installed in front of the pressure reducing valve to prevent debris in the medium from entering the pressure reducing valve and affecting its performance.

6. There should be a straight pipe before and after the installed pressure reducing valve. The length of the straight pipe before the valve is about 600 mm, and the length of the straight pipe after the valve is about 1 mm.

How to judge whether the liquefied gas pressure reducing valve is normal

Because the gas in the liquefied gas cylinder has been compressed into liquid and the pressure is very high, if the pressure reducing valve is broken, the high-pressure liquefied gas cannot be ignited. If it can ignite normally, it means the pressure reducing valve is not broken. If you feel a rush of gas to your hands every time you open the gas cylinder and smell a certain liquefied gas odor, it means that the connection between the liquefied gas cylinder and the pressure reducing valve is good. If there is a strong liquefied gas odor that persists for a long time, check whether the rubber pad or plastic pad at the interface is missing and whether the connecting screw is tightened. Generally, the cause can be found.
