Cardiopulmonary resuscitation first aid techniques Once cardiac arrest occurs, if it is not rescued and resuscitated immediately, it will cause irreversible damage to the patient's brain and other important organs and tissues after 4 to 6 minutes. Therefore, cardiopulmonary resuscitation after cardiac arrest must be performed immediately on the spot. 2. Cardiopulmonary resuscitation process First assess the safety of the on-site environment 1. Judgment of consciousness: Pat the patient's shoulders gently with both hands and ask: "Hey! What's wrong with you?" and be informed that there is no response. 2. Check breathing: Observe the patient's chest rise and fall for 5-10 seconds (1001, 1002, 1003, 1004, 1005...) and inform if there is no breathing 3. Call for help: Someone come! Call a doctor! Push the rescue vehicle! Defibrillator! 4. Determine whether there is carotid artery pulsation: Use the middle finger and index finger of your right hand to stroke from the cricoid cartilage in the middle of the trachea to the proximal carotid artery pulsation, and check if there is no pulsation (count 1001, 1002, 1003, 1004, 1005... to determine whether it is more than five seconds and less than 10 seconds). 5. Loosen your collar and belt. 6. External chest compression: At the midpoint of the line connecting the two nipples (the lower 1/3 of the sternum), press the left palm against the patient's chest, overlap the two hands, raise the five fingers of the left hand, straighten the arms, and use the upper body strength to press 30 times (the compression frequency is at least 100 times/minute, and the compression depth is at least 125px) 7. Open the airway: tilt your head back and lift your chin. There is no oral secretion and no dentures. 8. Artificial respiration: Use a simple respirator, fix it with one hand using the "CE" technique, and squeeze the simple respirator with the other hand, delivering 400-600ml of air each time, with a frequency of 10-12 times/minute. 9. Perform high-efficiency CPR for 2 minutes with a ratio of cardiac compression to artificial respiration of 30:2 for 5 cycles. (Heart compression begins and ventilation ends) 10. Determine whether the resuscitation is effective (listen for breathing sounds and feel for carotid artery pulsation). 11. Arrange the patient and provide further life support. 3. Main factors to improve the success rate of rescue 1. Continue to focus on high-quality CPR. 2. The compression frequency is at least 100 times/minute (as opposed to approximately 100 times/minute). 3. The depth of sternum depression is at least 5 cm. 4. Make sure the sternum fully recoils after compression. 5. Minimize interruptions during chest compressions. 6. Avoid hyperventilation. |
