If it is inconvenient to fluff, you can wash it, spin dry it in the washing machine, and then fluff it again. How to store quilts without getting moldy

In order to prevent the quilt from getting moldy, it must be placed in a ventilated and dry place, and some mothballs can be put in it to repel insects. Even if you don’t use a quilt in the summer, you should take it out and dry it in the sun every once in a while, because the quilt can be sterilized and mildew-proofed after being exposed to the sun.

1. Soak the quilt in rice washing water for one night, then scrub it as usual and the mildew stains can be removed.

2. Use a soft brush to clean the mildew spots on the quilt cover, then wipe it with alcohol, and the mildew spots can be removed.

3. You can also remove the mildew stains by rubbing them with mung bean sprouts and rinsing them with clean water.

4. If the mildew stains are difficult to clean, you can wipe them with bleach or 35-60℃ hot hydrogen peroxide solution, and then wash them with water.

5. The mildew stains on cotton and linen quilt covers can be soaked in 1 liter of water and 20 ml of ammonia diluted solution, and then washed with water; the mildew stains on silk and wool paper products can be scrubbed with a cotton ball dipped in turpentine, and then dried in the sun.
