How to determine whether moisture is discharged

There are many methods to remove dampness on the market, such as: moxibustion, sweat steaming, exercise and sweating, drinking Chinese medicine for conditioning, diet therapy, etc. Among them, massage method can also effectively relieve the symptoms of dampness. Generally speaking, the discharge of moisture can be judged by whether the symptoms of moisture have been alleviated. After detoxification and moisture removal, the facial skin will become smooth and tender. If the bowel movement is normal, the color of the tongue coating will also be normal.

There is an old saying: "It is easy to get rid of a thousand colds but difficult to get rid of one dampness. Dampness is sticky and turbid, like oil in flour." Dampness and cold together are called cold-dampness, dampness and heat together are called damp-heat, dampness and wind are called rheumatism, and dampness and heat together are called summer-dampness. If the dampness is not removed, no matter how many supplements you take, it will be of no help. How do you determine if there is dampness in the body?

How to determine whether you have dampness in your body

When you wake up - see how you feel. If you feel particularly tired, dizzy, and lack energy when you wake up every morning, or as if you are wearing wet clothes, your whole body is not refreshed, and you are too lazy to move?? Then you can be sure that there is dampness in your body.

When going to the toilet - look at the stool. After going to the toilet in the morning, you can observe the stool. Is it stuck to the toilet? Even a tank of water can't flush it away. If it is inconvenient to observe the toilet, you can also observe the toilet paper. Normally, one or two pieces of paper are enough. If three or five pieces of paper cannot be wiped clean after repeated wiping, it also means that there is moisture in the body. The color and shape of the stool can also help determine whether there is dampness in the body. Normal stools are golden yellow and banana-shaped, but few people have this healthy stool nowadays. When there is dampness in the body, the stool will be blue in color, loose and soft without any shape (this is an important sign of spleen deficiency, which many people have), and there will always be a feeling of incomplete excretion. Over time, the toxins produced by stool retention accumulate in the body, causing a variety of diseases.

When washing - look at the tongue coating. We usually start washing after going to the toilet. Before brushing our teeth, we might as well take a few seconds to look at our tongue in the mirror. “The tongue is the sprout of the heart and the external sign of the spleen.” The tongue can sensitively reflect our physical condition.

How to remove moisture

Tip 1: The lazier you are, the more you need to exercise. Most people with heavy moisture in their bodies have a greasy diet and lack of exercise. These people often feel heavy and weak in their limbs and are unwilling to move. However, the less they like to exercise, the more moisture accumulates in their bodies. Over time, the moisture will inevitably attack the spleen and cause a series of diseases. Exercise can relieve stress, promote the functioning of body organs, and accelerate the excretion of moisture from the body. Exercises such as running, walking, swimming, yoga, and Tai Chi help activate blood circulation and increase water metabolism.

Tip 2: Eat light and moderate meals. The gastrointestinal system is related to the metabolism of nutrients and water. The best way is to eat a moderate and balanced diet. Oily foods such as alcohol, milk, fatty and sweet foods are difficult to digest and can easily cause gastrointestinal bloating and inflammation. Sweets and fried foods will cause the body to produce peroxides, aggravating the inflammatory response. Raw and cold food, ice cream or cold vegetables and fruits will cause the digestion and absorption function of the stomach and intestines to stagnate, and should not be consumed frequently, such as lettuce, salad, watermelon, cabbage, bitter gourd, etc. It is best to add onions and ginger when cooking to reduce the cold nature of the vegetables.

Tip 3: Avoid moisture in the environment. The moisture produced in our body is related to the environment to a large extent, in addition to our own metabolic problems. If you often stay in a humid, cold environment, it is easy for moisture to invade the body.

In daily life, we should pay attention to the following matters:

Don't sleep directly on the floor. The floor is very damp and can easily invade the body, causing pain in the limbs. Reduce going out on wet and rainy days.

Do not wear damp clothes, do not cover yourself with a damp blanket, and dry your body thoroughly and blow dry your hair after taking a shower.

If the humidity in the room is very high, it is recommended to open windows more often for ventilation. If the humidity outside is also very high, you can also turn on fans and air conditioners to use these appliances to maintain air convection.
