More and more people go to the hospital for orthodontic treatment. Some people choose cosmetic crowns, which is a very popular method of orthodontic treatment. It can make your teeth neat and white in a very short time without suffering much pain like traditional orthodontic treatment. Before installing a cosmetic crown, you need to take a tooth model. You can learn about the steps of taking the model, so that you can be more relaxed and not so confused when you go to the hospital to take the tooth model. Communication before taking the mold Receive guests and prepare supplies, and communicate well before taking the mold. Follow the mold-taking process. After taking the mold, carefully check whether the model is clear and complete. Then ask the customer to use wet wipes to clean the appearance and immediately go to the model room for model injection. Ask the guest to rest in the rest area for 5 minutes and remove the metal jewelry, then take them to the X-ray room to be photographed according to the panoramic and side view shooting process. Specific process After the photoshoot is completed, take the client to the pre-diagnosis department, inform the pre-diagnosis staff that the pre-operative examination is over, and complete the handover of the client. After 30 minutes, the model is removed and the information of the customer and the person who took the model is noted, and then handed over to the pre-diagnosis staff. After the drill, the skills of using panoramic cameras and taking perfect photos have been deepened and consolidated. The reception process for orthodontic customers is basically unified, and the whole process takes approximately 30 minutes. Requirements for orthodontic filming and impression taking The patients are skilled in movements, kind in attitude, pay attention to details of service and communication with customers, inform them in advance of the discomfort during the molding process and teach them how to adjust breathing, and coordinate lip and tongue movements. After the mold taking is completed, assist the customer in arranging the facial materials. The model should be clear and complete. After the tray is placed, the functional shaping of the lips, cheeks and tongue should be done well. All dentition and mucosal transitions must be complete. After the model is removed, it is initially trimmed, checked for correct occlusion, and the customer's name and other information are noted. The model box can only be handed over to the pre-diagnosis staff after the name of the person responsible for taking the model is written on it. When taking panoramic radiographs, we first ask the client whether he has undergone radiographic examinations in our hospital. If a file has been created, we will carefully check the original file and then add a new film under the same file. If it is the first time to create a file, enter the full name in the "surname" column and take the photo. The lateral view requires the client to bite naturally, and the back teeth must be in place. The client can be asked to bite while swallowing. This position is the client's natural bite position. Please keep your personal valuables safe, especially metal ornaments you have taken off, and remind guests to take them away promptly. |
