What are the benefits of cultivating bezoar

I believe many people have heard of bezoar. Bezoar is the gallbladder of a cow. Bezoar is relatively rare and it is not easy to obtain the raw materials. Chinese medicine will specially cultivate bezoar. The cultivated bezoar has the same effect as the real bezoar. It also has the effects of dispelling wind and detoxifying, clearing away heat and relieving pain, and preventing mouth and tongue sores. It has been used as medicine in the 1970s and is widely known by people, precisely because of the efficacy and value of bezoar.

What are the benefits of cultivating bezoar

Bezoar is a stone in the gallbladder, bile duct or hepatic duct of a cow. It is a precious Chinese medicine highly praised by the Chinese medicine community in my country. It has the functions of clearing the heart, opening the orifices, cooling the liver, calming the wind and detoxifying. It is used to treat diseases such as high fever and coma, convulsions, stroke and phlegm, epilepsy, throat tumors, mouth sores, carbuncles and furuncles.

Brief Introduction to the Research and Development of Bezoar

According to statistics, the natural occurrence rate of bezoar is only 0.021%. Because it is very scarce but has significant medicinal effects, there has been a saying since ancient times that "the most precious medicine is bezoar." In order to resolve the contradiction between supply and demand, relevant national departments and scientific researchers have been looking for substitutes for natural bezoar for many years.

In the 1950s, Chinese researchers simulated the main components of natural bezoar and mixed bilirubin, bile acid, cholesterol, inorganic salts, hyodeoxycholic acid and 68% of agar powder to make artificial bezoar powder for use as medicine.

In the 1970s, researchers began to simulate the in vivo formation process of natural bezoar to develop bezoar. They performed laparotomy to open the cow's gallbladder, sewed a nylon mesh on the gallbladder mucosa, injected bacteria, and then performed another laparotomy to remove the mesh 2-3 years later. They scraped the yellowish substance and mucus from the mesh, dried it into powder, and obtained the in vivo cultured bezoar.
