What to do if hemorrhoids are itchy and uncomfortable

What to do if hemorrhoids are itchy and uncomfortable

Because hemorrhoids occur in a special area, many people with hemorrhoids find it difficult to talk about them and are not willing to actively seek treatment, which causes the condition to become increasingly serious and induces anal fissures, anal fistulas, etc., which not only increases the difficulty of treatment but also increases the pain of patients. In addition to pain, hemorrhoids can also cause itching, but many people cannot deal with the itching in sensitive areas, which is very uncomfortable and restless. So how can hemorrhoids be treated? What can you do if you suffer from itchy hemorrhoids?

Hemorrhoids are a common disease in the anorectal department, and men and women who sit in the office for a long time are at high risk of hemorrhoids. Due to the particularity and hidden nature of hemorrhoids, patients often do not receive timely treatment. As the symptoms worsen, systemic symptoms also appear one after another: pale complexion, fatigue, dizziness, weakness, collapse or fainting when standing up after sitting or squatting for a long time, etc. People suffer from hemorrhoids, and severe patients are forced to undergo surgical treatment.

One is conservative treatment

One is surgical treatment

The method to be chosen depends on the severity of the patient's condition. However, I personally recommend conservative treatment. After all, it is better not to do surgery if possible.

Methods/Steps

1. Internal treatment: refers to the method of using oral medication to treat hemorrhoids

2. Patches: can reduce inflammation, inhibit bacteria, stop bleeding and relieve pain. They are effective for blood in the stool, swelling and pain caused by internal and external hemorrhoids and mixed hemorrhoids.

3. Suppository: refers to the method of local administration of drugs into the anus

Precautions

Reasonable diet: eat more vegetables and fruits, drink plenty of water and foods that have a laxative effect.

Bowel habits: The bowel movement should not be too long. Bad habits such as reading or playing with mobile phones while defecating should be corrected. If conditions permit, use warm salt water to clean the anus after defecation.

Appropriate exercise: Appropriate exercise, in addition to full-body physical exercise, also requires strengthening of local functional exercises (regular activities are required)

Timely treatment: If you find that you have hemorrhoids, you should treat them promptly to avoid more serious consequences. Mild cases can be eliminated with medication, while severe cases require surgery in the hospital.
