1. Tenderness

Most patients can feel obvious tenderness around the shoulder joint, most of which are in the tendon groove of the long head of the biceps brachii. Subacromial bursa, coracoid process, supraspinatus muscle attachment point, etc. Pain is the most prominent clinical symptom of frozen shoulder. At the beginning, the pain is often mild, but it is often triggered by weather changes or fatigue, and will gradually develop into persistent pain, especially during shoulder rotation, elevation, abduction and other movements, which are more obvious clinical symptoms of periarthritis of the shoulder, and may even be extremely painful.

2. Joint stiffness

Limited shoulder motion generally occurs as a symptom of painful frozen shoulder. 3-4 weeks after the symptoms become obvious, patients start to be afraid to move due to pain and muscle spasms. Later, the joint capsule, ligaments and other soft tissues will form adhesions and contractures. The clinical symptoms of frozen shoulder will cause obvious stiffness of the shoulder joint.
