In modern life, more and more chemical products are produced, which facilitate people's activities in various fields. For example, aluminum phosphide is a very commonly used chemical substance. Its application range is very wide, especially in the storage process, because aluminum phosphide has insecticidal effects. Let’s take a look at the explanation of how to do aluminum phosphide fumigation. I hope everyone can understand it. Aluminum phosphide is made by sintering red phosphorus and aluminum powder. It is widely used due to its high insecticidal efficiency, economy and convenience. The content of aluminum phosphide used for granary fumigation is 56.0% to 58.5%, and the specifications of 3.20g/piece are more common. Only 3 to 7 pieces are needed for fumigation per ton of grain, and only 1 to 2 pieces per cubic meter. The main toxicity of aluminum phosphide is that it decomposes rapidly when it comes into contact with water and acid, releasing phosphine gas, which is quickly absorbed and extremely toxic. In mixture with ammonium carbamate it can be used as a pesticide and is also used in welding. How to use Take the preparation with 56% content as an example : 1. 3 to 8 pieces per ton of stored grain or goods; 2 to 5 pieces per cubic meter of stack or goods; 1 to 4 pieces per cubic meter of fumigation space. 2. After steaming, lift the tent or plastic film, open doors and windows or ventilation gates, use natural or mechanical ventilation to fully disperse the air and exhaust the toxic gas. 3. When entering the warehouse, use test paper soaked in 5%~10% silver nitrate solution to test for poisonous gas. Only when there is no phosphine gas can you enter. 4. The fumigation time depends on the temperature and humidity. Fumigation is not recommended below 5°C; at least 14 days between 5°C and 9°C; at least 7 days between 10°C and 16°C; at least 4 days between 16°C and 25°C; at least 3 days above 25°C. Fumigation to kill voles, 1 to 2 pieces per mouse hole. Precautions 1. Direct contact with medicines is strictly prohibited. 2. When using this agent, the relevant regulations and safety measures for aluminum phosphide fumigation should be strictly observed. When fumigating with this agent, it must be guided by skilled technicians or experienced staff. Single-person operation is strictly prohibited. It should be carried out in clear weather and not at night. 3. The medicine barrel should be opened outdoors. A danger cordon should be set up around the fumigation site. Do not let your eyes or face face directly toward the barrel opening. After applying the medicine for 24 hours, a dedicated person should check for leaks or fire. 4. Phosphine is highly corrosive to copper. Copper parts such as light switches and lamp holders should be coated with engine oil or sealed with plastic film for protection. Metal devices in the fumigation area may be temporarily removed. |
