There have been such cases in clinical practice: the blood clots in thrombosed external hemorrhoids continued to spread upward, eventually causing the necrotic area to invade the rectal wall, and finally causing severe sepsis in the pelvic cavity. Although this situation is rare, once it occurs, it is fatal to the patient, so clinicians must be highly vigilant.

Induce cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases: Especially for elderly patients, due to the fear of the pain of thrombosed external hemorrhoids, they dare not go to the toilet, causing severe constipation. Exercise for the treatment of thrombosed external hemorrhoids

1. Anal lifting exercise. Relax your whole body, squeeze your buttocks and thighs tightly, inhale, lick your upper palate with your tongue, and lift your anus upwards. An expert from Changsha Antai Proctology Hospital said that you should hold your breath for a while after lifting your anus, just like holding back a bowel movement, then exhale and relax your whole body. Do it twice a day, morning and evening, a dozen times each time.

2. Pelvic lifting exercises. Lie on your back with your knees bent, bring your heels close to your buttocks, place your hands under your head, use the soles of your feet and shoulders as fulcrums, lift your pelvis, and at the same time pull in your anus, and lower your pelvis when you relax. After you become proficient, you can also coordinate with your breathing, inhale when you lift your anus, and exhale when you relax. This method can be performed 1 to 3 times a day, 20 times each time.

3. Abdominal rotation exercise. Lie on your back with your legs naturally stretched out. Use your palms to make rotating movements around the Qihai point (one inch below the navel); rotate counterclockwise 20 to 30 times, then clockwise 20 to 30 times, first counterclockwise and then clockwise.

4. Cross-over sit-ups. Cross your legs, sit on the edge of the bed or on a chair, and relax your whole body; stand with your legs crossed, while pulling your hips in and legs apart, and tightening your anus; relax your whole body when you sit down again. Do this 10 to 30 times in a row.

5. Forward bending exercise. Stand with your legs apart, clench your palms loosely, and lift them up from both sides of your chest to your breasts, while tilting your head back and straightening your chest to inhale; when you are fully inhaled, bend your upper body forward as if bowing, while changing your fists into palms and thrusting them out along your armpits toward the lower and back of your body, taking a deep breath as you do so. Repeat this operation 5 to 6 times.
