Facial nerve paralysis? This treatment is effective

1. Clinical symptoms

2. Basic treatment

Sibai Guanliao Xiaguan Tinggongyifeng

Add moxibustion according to the symptoms; if the eyelids cannot close, add moxibustion on Yanglingquan; if the corners of the mouth cannot close, add moxibustion on Dicang; for insomnia, add moxibustion on Sanyinjiao.

1. Sibai Point (dispels wind, improves eyesight, dredges meridians and activates collaterals)

Located directly below the pupil on the face, in the depression of the infraorbital foramen.

Use moxa sticks to circularly moxibustion the Sibai acupoint for 10 to 15 minutes. The opposite side is operated in the same way.

2. Guanliao acupoint (relieves heat and swelling, dispels wind and calms spasms)

Located on the face, directly below the outer canthus of the eye, in the depression at the lower edge of the eye bone.

Use moxa stick to circularly moxibustion the Quanliao point for 10 to 15 minutes. The opposite side is operated in the same way.

3. Xiaguan acupoint (reduces swelling and relieves pain, invigorates qi and improves hearing)

Located in the front of the face, in the depression formed by the zygomatic arch and the mandibular notch.

Use moxa sticks to circularly moxibustion the Xiaguan acupoint for 10 to 15 minutes. The opposite side is operated in the same way.

4. Tinggong acupoint (opens the ears, soothes the mind and relieves pain)

Located on the face, in front of the tragus and behind the mandibular condyle, it is a depression when the mouth is opened.

Use moxa sticks to circularly moxibustion the Tinggong acupoint for 10 to 15 minutes. The opposite side is operated in the same way.

5. Yifeng Point (to improve hearing and clear the orifices, dissipate internal heat)

Located behind the earlobe, in the depression between the mastoid process and the angle of the mandible.

Use moxa sticks to gently moxibustion the Yifeng point for 10 to 15 minutes. The opposite side is operated in the same way.
