What are the symptoms of genital warts?

Genital warts are a very common genital disease in life, also known as a sexually transmitted disease. This disease has a high incidence rate and is highly contagious. It is easy to spread widely in an unclean sexual environment, posing a great threat to people's reproductive health. There are many symptoms of genital warts, among which cauliflower symptoms are more serious. Let’s take a look at the symptoms of genital warts and cauliflower symptoms.

Cauliflower-shaped condyloma acuminatum is the most common in clinical practice and accounts for 86.4% of the cases under medical observation.

Symptoms:

1. In cauliflower-type condyloma acuminatum, some lesions are cockscomb-shaped, some have a wider base, and some are pedunculated. The size of cauliflower-type condyloma acuminatum lesions ranges from less than 0.5 cm in diameter to as large as a peanut kernel, and a few may merge into larger lesions. The lesions are mostly light red in color, with a few being bright red or off-white.

2. The lesion tissue of cauliflower-like condyloma acuminatum is brittle and will bleed easily if rubbed with a cotton swab with slight force. A central venule can be seen within each protuberance.

3. Cauliflower-shaped condyloma acuminatum can occur singly or in multiples, and some may merge into larger masses. Once these lesions grow, they grow quite rapidly and in a few cases can spread within a relatively short period of time.

4. The entire vulva, urethral orifice, vaginal orifice and perineum are all covered with diffusely growing cauliflower-shaped condyloma acuminatum of varying sizes with basically no normal skin tissue contour. In some cases, the entire vaginal wall is covered with condyloma acuminatum and blocks the vagina. In some cases, the anus and buttocks are covered with condyloma acuminatum, which are similar to giant condyloma acuminatum.

5. Since this type of lesion often occurs in moist areas such as the inner side of the foreskin, coronal sulcus, urethral orifice of men and the inner side of the labia minora, vaginal orifice, posterior symphysis, vaginal wall and anus of women, the lesions are relatively soft and have a moist surface. However, if the lesions occur on drier skin and mucous membranes, the texture may be harder, and the color of the lesions may be dark red or close to the color of the skin and mucous membranes.
