How to relieve gum pain?

Many of us have experienced gum pain, which can be very uncomfortable. Some of the more effective relief methods include brushing your teeth with warm water, rubbing the painful area with garlic, etc. It is best to diagnose the cause of swollen and painful gums so that they can be treated more quickly.

1. Brush your teeth with warm water

Experts point out that patients with swollen and painful gums should brush their teeth with warm water and rinse their mouths with warm tea because the dental pulp nerves are sensitive to temperature, especially for teeth with worn teeth and exposed dentin. Cold stimulation can cause toothache, and warm water is a natural protective agent for teeth, which can prevent and treat allergic toothache. Tea contains fluoride, and gargling with warm tea regularly can protect teeth, prevent caries, and treat toothache, but it is only a temporary solution and does not address the root cause. This method can only temporarily relieve pain.

2. Rub garlic to relieve pain

For those with severely worn teeth and clear painful areas, you can rub the sensitive areas repeatedly with raw garlic, 1-2 times a day, 1-2 minutes each time. After 1-2 weeks, the pain will be significantly reduced or disappear.

3. Fresh ginger loofah

100 grams of fresh ginger and 500 grams of loofah. Wash the fresh loofah and cut it into sections. Wash the fresh ginger and slice it. Add two leaves to water and boil for 3 hours. Drink soup twice a day.

This prescription is used to treat swollen and painful gums, dry mouth and nose, and bleeding nasal membranes (nosebleeds). It has the effects of clearing away heat and detoxifying, reducing swelling and relieving pain.

4. Verbena water. Take 30 grams of verbena, decocted in water, 1 dose per day.

5. Gargle with gallnut. Take 15 grams of Gallnut, boil it into a thick juice and gargle with it.
