Relaxation therapy should be done like this

People nowadays live a fast-paced life and are under great pressure, so they often feel very tired and cannot sleep well at night. Therefore, relaxation therapy is the simplest and most effective method at this time. After practicing relaxation therapy, you will obviously feel a lot more relaxed, making the practitioner feel light and happy.

① The practitioner leans back on a sofa or recliner in a comfortable position.

② Close your eyes.

③ Focus your attention on the head, clench your teeth so that both cheeks feel tight, then loosen your teeth and the muscles that clench your teeth will feel relaxed. Relax each muscle of your head one by one.

④ Shift your attention to the neck. First, try to tense the neck muscles until you feel sore, painful, and tight. Then relax all the neck muscles until you feel relaxed.

⑤ Focus your attention on your hands and clench them tightly until they feel numb and sore. Then gradually loosen your hands and place them in a position that makes you feel comfortable, and keep them relaxed.

⑥ Focus your attention on your chest, start by taking a deep breath, hold it for one or two minutes, then slowly exhale; inhale again, repeat several times until your chest feels relaxed.

And so on, focus your attention on your shoulders, abdomen, and legs, and relax them one by one. Eventually, your whole body will relax and be in a relaxed state, and maintain this state for one or two minutes. Follow this method to learn how to relax all the muscles in your body and remember the relaxation procedure. Do this twice a day and persist, and you will feel relaxed both mentally and physically. Doing it once before bed will help you fall asleep.
