Liver cancer symptoms

Liver cancer symptoms

Over 30 years old, a lump can be felt in the right upper abdomen and epigastrium. It is hard and has an uneven surface. Continuous observation will reveal that the lump increases, but people do not feel any discomfort.

Diarrhea often occurs repeatedly, and there is also indigestion and bloating. At this time, many people will think it is gastroenteritis. If the treatment is not effective, accompanied by pain in the liver area, and the person gradually loses weight, you should be careful of liver cancer.

Liver cancer is a highly malignant tumor. In the early stages, there are usually no symptoms, or there may be mild fatigue, poor appetite, and liver pain, but it does not affect normal work, so patients tend to ignore it and do not seek medical treatment in time. The high incidence of liver cancer is mainly in patients with viral infections or cirrhosis. It is recommended that patients have a check-up every six months, mainly to check liver function, hepatitis virus, and imaging. At present, imaging examinations are mainly B-ultrasound and CT. If conditions permit, a CT enhanced examination should be performed once a year to detect small liver cancers early, and timely treatment should be very effective. If there are early symptoms, the patient already has a feeling, and the precursor is not necessarily a feeling, that is, cancer has no obvious precursors. If the precursor should be a symptom

There are no obvious symptoms and signs in the early stage of liver metastasis, while the symptoms and signs in the late stage are similar to those of primary liver cancer, but due to the absence of cirrhosis, it often develops slowly and the symptoms are milder. In the early stage, the main symptoms are the symptoms of the primary foci, and the symptoms of the liver itself are not obvious, which often occur during preoperative examinations, postoperative follow-up or cesarean section examinations. As the disease progresses and the tumor increases, liver symptoms gradually appear, such as liver pain, stuffy discomfort, fatigue, weight loss, fever, loss of appetite and upper abdominal mass. Jaundice, ascites, and cachexia appear in the late stage. There are also a small number of patients whose symptoms of liver metastasis are obvious, mainly from the gastrointestinal tract, pancreas, etc., while the primary lesions are not obvious.
