Common sites of bladder cancer

Common sites of bladder cancer

Once a disease like bladder cancer occurs, it will endanger the patient's life. Such a disease has a relatively high mortality rate. Therefore, even though we need to pay more attention to bladder cancer and learn more about related common sense, in which parts of the body does bladder cancer most likely occur? Let's take a look at the editor's detailed introduction.

Among bladder tumors, malignant tumors account for the vast majority, of which more than 86% originate from transitional epithelial cells. Bladder cancer is a common site of occurrence, while undifferentiated cancer, squamous cell carcinoma and adenocarcinoma are rare. Tumors most often metastasize to the peri-bladder, iliac and lumbar lymph nodes. Hematogenous metastasis often occurs in the late stage, and the liver, bones and lungs are the most common organs involved. Therefore, it is important to understand the five most common sites of bladder cancer.

What are the five most common sites of bladder cancer? In addition to transitional cell carcinoma, the characteristics of other rare tumor types of bladder cancer are:

① Bladder squamous cell carcinoma is highly malignant, deeply infiltrated, and metastasized early, and is difficult to cure.

② Adenocarcinoma is rare and often occurs in the remnant of the urachal tube.

③ Rhabdomyosarcoma and leiomyosarcoma are also rare. They are more common in male children and young people, with extensive infiltration and early metastasis, and are often fatal.

④ Primary malignant lymphoma, carcinosarcoma, neurofibroma, hemangioma, and pheochromocytoma are all rare. Pheochromocytoma is often accompanied by hypertension, which can occur clearly when emptying urine.

⑤ Skin melanoma, stomach tumors, lung tumors and brain tumors may metastasize to the bladder. If bladder cancer patients experience pain, they must control their condition and prevent bladder cancer from metastasizing.

Transurethral bladder tumor resection is often used, and postoperative bladder instillation is used to prevent recurrence. Patients with muscle-invasive urothelial carcinoma, bladder squamous cell carcinoma, and adenocarcinoma are often treated with total cystectomy, and some patients can be treated with partial cystectomy.

After reading the editor's story, we can understand which parts of the body are most likely to develop bladder cancer. We hope that in the future people can pay attention to the prevention of bladder cancer. If they have the disease, they should actively take treatment measures and try to stay away from the disease as soon as possible. Of course, it is also very important for us to pay attention to the prevention of bladder cancer.
