Many elderly people like to buy some health care products. Most of these health care products do not have national production licenses or approval numbers from the Food and Drug Administration. For the elderly, if they take health products that are "three-no", not only will they have no health-regulating effect on the body, they may even cause certain harm. In daily life, we should understand some scientific health care methods. If we want to take health care products, we must buy regular health care products.

1. No need for vitamin pills

More and more scientific research results show that taking vitamin pills purchased from stores every day has no health benefits for healthy people. Only those who are severely deficient in a certain vitamin can increase the vitamin content in the body by taking pills to supplement that vitamin.

2. No need to spend extra money on brand name painkillers

Studies show that when doctors and pharmacists themselves or their families need to take painkillers, they buy cheaper generic painkillers in more than 90% of cases because the chemical ingredients and dosages in generic painkillers are the same as brand-name painkillers, but the price is half the price.

3. Sugar substitutes may not be healthy

People who are concerned about white sugar often opt for sugar extracted from agave, stevia or coconut. But the problem is that the sucrose in coconut sugar is no different from white sugar; although the sugar extracted from agave does not cause blood sugar to rise, it has a higher cholesterol content; and the sugar extracted from stevia is so sweet that it will induce people to consume more sugar.

4. Excess calcium intake does not strengthen bones

Studies show that consuming too much calcium can lead to kidney stone problems and even increase the risk of heart attack.

5. Low-fat foods may not be healthy

There are many low-fat foods for sale in Canadian supermarkets now, but in order to make up for the unappealing taste after the fat content is reduced, these low-fat foods often increase the salt and sugar content, which makes the so-called low-fat foods sold in supermarkets unhealthy.

6. Low accuracy rate of online medical check
