How to improve indoor air quality?

There has been smog for several days in a row recently. I dare not open the window or go out, for fear that the outdoor pollution will spread indoors. However, the indoor air is still stuffy and has a strange smell. As concepts change, people are increasingly eager for natural, fresh and clean air. How to keep indoor air fresh and improve indoor air is a common concern of people. So how to change it? Let me introduce several methods to you!

Improve indoor air quality method 1: open windows for ventilation

This method can effectively improve indoor air quality, but it has great disadvantages. Blind wind direction and airflow may bring odors from the bathroom and kitchen into the living room and bedroom, and bring outdoor dust and sand into the room. Noise pollution is serious, and opening windows when using air conditioning will cause a lot of energy waste.

Method 2 for improving indoor air quality: household central air conditioning

A small amount of fresh air enters, but there is no exhaust vent, so the indoor air cannot be significantly improved, and the polluted air cannot be quickly discharged outdoors. If there is only air intake, positive pressure will be formed indoors, making it difficult for fresh air from outdoors to be delivered into the room. This forms a closed circulation system between the human body, the room and the air conditioner. Simply adjusting the temperature cannot fundamentally solve the air quality problem. It has a return air vent but cannot exchange air with the outside air and has no exhaust, so fresh air has become difficult to deliver into the positive pressure area. The polluted air cannot be quickly discharged to the outside, and it only controls cold and heat, but cannot solve the problem of fresh air ventilation.

Method 3 to improve indoor air quality: negative ions

There are many ways to solve indoor air pollution, and negative ions are the best. Negative ions can take the initiative to quickly decompose indoor pollutants such as formaldehyde, bacteria, benzene, and effectively settle particles as small as 0.01 microns and difficult-to-remove floating dust and other pollution, making it easy to have clean air.

However, simple air purification can no longer meet the health needs of urban residents. Negative ions are beneficial to human health while purifying the air! The negative ion content in fresh air should not be less than 1000/cm3. This is the main reason why people feel the air is particularly fresh in forests, beaches and around waterfalls. This fresh feeling is actually the result of negative ions acting on the human central nervous system and blood circulation, improving brain function, promoting metabolism and eliminating fatigue. It is very helpful for those of us who stay indoors for a long time.
