Ingredients: 1 pair of seahorses, 37g each of agarwood, white poria, akebia, rehmannia, late silkworm moth, silkworm cocoon, morinda officinalis, benzoin, alpinia oxyphylla, Achyranthes bidentata, and fenugreek, 55g of costus root, safflower, myrrh, lotus seed core, pure lotus meat, fine ink, dragon bone, and cinnabar, 18g each of dodder seed, 39g of cistanche, 11g each of psoralea corylifolia and green salt, 3g of musk, and 26g of mother clove.

Preparation method: Slightly roast and stir-fry the seahorse; soak Morinda officinalis in wine and remove the core; soak Achyranthes bidentata, Fenugreek, Cuscuta australis, Cistanche deserticola, and Psoralea corylifolia in wine separately; grind myrrh into powder; calcine dragon bone into ash; grind benzoin into fine powder.

Grind all the above ingredients into powder, and make them into pills with wine paste, as big as sycamore seeds. Take once a day, 30 pills each time, gradually increase to 50 pills, take on an empty stomach with warm wine or warm water. It is better to take with clear tea in summer. It is mainly used to treat symptoms such as weak kidney yang, insufficient qi and blood, weak tendons and bones, poor appetite, and premature aging.

Seahorse Wind Chasing Cream

Ingredients: 130g each of processed frankincense and processed myrrh, 120g each of seahorse, leopard bone, angelica, bauhinia bark, radix spatholobi, Achyranthes bidentata, and Rhizoma Aconitum, 60g each of red peony root, drynariae, pangolin, cassia twig, and processed Chuanwu, 30g each of safflower, rhizoma diffusae, rhizoma aconiti lobata, and blood clotting agent.

Preparation method: First, crush and grind frankincense, myrrh, seahorse, dragon's blood, etc. separately, and mix them evenly. Fry the other ingredients in oil (sesame oil) until they are charred, remove the residue, add appropriate amount of Guangdan and boil until water drops into beads, then add the crushed ingredients, mix while boiling, and arrange them on red cotton cloth while they are hot. Each ointment weighs 45 to 60 grams. Warm the ointment before use to soften it, then apply it to the affected area. Change the ointment once a week. Indications: cold and dampness, shoulder and back pain, leg pain, leg weakness, tendon and bone pain, etc.
