1. Rust removal with vinegar:

Vinegar contains acetic acid, which can remove rust. First heat the rusty iron pan, then wipe vinegar on the rusty parts, the rust will fall off quickly.

2. Lard rust removal method:

Because lard is rich in fat, it can prevent rust very well. Heat the pan, put the lard in the fat, wait until the lard in the fat is boiled out, and then spread the lard evenly to prevent the iron pan from rusting.

3. Rust removal with rice water:

Rice water has a strong cleaning effect. First soak it in concentrated rice water for about 2-3 hours. Then boil the rice water. When it is hot, wipe the iron pan repeatedly with a dishcloth. It does not take a long time. After turning off the heat, let it wait until it is warm, rinse the iron pan with clean water and wipe it dry.

4. Rust removal with steel wool :

The above methods all use chemical principles, while scrubbing with steel wool is a physical method. Steel wool can be used to rub off the rust on the surface of the iron pan. Of course, you can also use sandpaper to remove rust.

5. Cooking oil rust prevention method:

Pour a small amount of oil into the pot and heat it, then slowly turn the ladle to allow the oil to cover the entire pot. Heat it until it smokes, repeat this process several times, and it will not rust easily.

6. How to prevent iron pan from rusting

When cooking over high heat, it is easy to leave food residues and the like at the bottom of the pot. You must remove these residues, keep the pot clean and smooth, and do not let the residues adhere to the pot, so that it will not easily rust.

After each use of the iron pan, you should clean it and then turn on the gas stove to heat the pot to burn out the water in the pot, keeping the pot dry so that it will not rust easily.

After using the iron pan, you can clean it, wipe off the moisture in the pot with paper or rag, and then apply a layer of lard to prevent the iron pan from rusting.

After cooking with an iron pan, you can hang it in a ventilated place such as a window or door to keep it clean. The air circulation will prevent the iron pan from rusting easily.

After using the iron pan, remove the moisture inside to keep the pot dry, then put the pot in a plastic bag and seal the bag. This way, the iron pan will not be exposed to external moisture and air and will not rust.

Use fatty pork, put it in a hot pan, and don't add oil. Wait for the pork oil to come out little by little. Continue to cook, coating the inside of the pan with oil. When the pork seems to have little oil left, turn off the heat and let it cool down overnight. It will not be rusty anymore.
