How are gallstones formed? You need to know the reason

Gallstones are a lesion in the biliary system and a common clinical disease. Gallbladder

Stone has an impact on human health and life, and treatment is very important. It is also important to understand how gallstones are formed. Strictly speaking, some disease factors may also cause gallstones.

1. Patients with obesity or those in late pregnancy have reduced physical activity, loose abdominal walls, and sagging internal organs, which can cause long-term compression of the bile duct, poor bile excretion, and decreased gallbladder muscle tension, leading to the gradual accumulation, concentration, and deposition of bile to form stones. According to relevant statistics, people whose weight exceeds the normal standard by more than 15% are five times more likely to suffer from gallstones than normal people.

2. It is related to chronic inflammation of the gallbladder. The gallbladder mucosa becomes inflamed due to stimulation from concentrated bile or refluxed pancreatic juice. The necrotic and detached mucosa, bacteria, viruses, etc. form a core, which promotes the deposition of cholesterol and bilirubin, and eventually forms stones.

3. Blindly diet to lose weight. Skipping breakfast, eating sweets and high-fat foods, and taking certain medications for a long time, such as clofibrate and estrogen, can all lead to changes in bile composition. Bile is easy to concentrate, and cholesterol is saturated, so they deposit together to form stones. British medical scientists have found that more than 90% of gallstone patients have the habit of eating sweets. There are also reports that one-third of people who diet a lot and skip breakfast will develop stones within four months.

4. It is related to certain physical factors. Gastric surgery can easily damage the nerves that control the movement of the gallbladder, reducing gallbladder function and causing bile stagnation, which can eventually form stones.

5. Cholesterol metabolism disorders. Women in late pregnancy or postpartum, as well as those who eat a high-fat diet or have diabetes, have increased cholesterol levels in their blood and increased cholesterol levels in their bile. If bile accumulates and bile salts decrease at this time, stones are very likely to form.

6. Those who have bad hygiene habits and are infected with intestinal parasites. The dead bodies or eggs of ascarids that enter the bile duct or gallbladder can form stones. Japanese scholars analyzed the bilirubin calcium stones removed during surgery and found that 55% of the stones were composed of Ascaris eggs. In my country, worm eggs account for 20% to 84% of the composition of gallstones, and more than 70% in high-incidence areas.
