Diarrhea is a common symptom in life. People generally call it diarrhea. Although diarrhea is not a very serious condition, it can cause great harm to the human body. Some patients with diarrhea also suffer from gastric bleeding. The combination of these two diseases has a great impact on the patients' lives. So is there an inevitable connection between gastric bleeding and diarrhea? What method should be used to correctly treat it? There are many causes of gastrointestinal bleeding, the most common causes are Peptic ulcer, portal hypertension-esophageal venous bleeding, acute erosive gastritis, gastric cancer. Because the cause of bleeding is different, the treatment methods are also different. As for diarrhea that occurs during bleeding treatment, there is no necessary connection between the two. If diarrhea symptoms occur, antidiarrheal treatment should be given to regulate gastrointestinal function. Gastric Bleeding Treatment Drug treatment ① In recent years, the most effective drugs for peptic ulcer are proton pump inhibitor omeprazole, H2 receptor antagonists cimetidine or ranitidine, or ranitidine is also commonly used in primary hospitals. The above three drugs are all taken orally after the bleeding stops after 3 to 5 days of use. For bleeding from peptic ulcer and erosive gastritis, 8 mg of norepinephrine can be added to 100 ml of ice saline and taken orally or by nasogastric tube drip. Thrombin can also be used orally. Thrombin must be freshly prepared for clinical use, and H2 receptor antagonists or omeprazole must be given at the same time to allow the drug to take effect. ② When esophageal and gastric fundus varicose veins rupture and bleed, posterior pituitary hormone is a commonly used drug, but its effect time is short, so it is recommended to use it in small doses. It is not suitable for people with hypertension, coronary heart disease or pregnant women. Some advocate taking nitroglycerin or isosorbide dinitrate sublingually at the same time. Since the 1980s, somatostatin has been used and has a good hemostatic effect on upper gastrointestinal bleeding. There are almost no serious adverse reactions for short-term use, but it is more expensive. Surgery After the above treatment, most upper gastrointestinal bleeding can be stopped. If it still doesn't work, surgical treatment can be considered. For ruptured esophageal and gastric fundus varicose veins, surgery such as oral or splenorenal vein anastomosis may be considered. Early surgery for patients with massive bleeding from gastric and duodenal ulcers can reduce the mortality rate, especially for the elderly who have difficulty stopping bleeding and are prone to recurrence. Early surgery is more appropriate. If there is ulcer perforation, pyloric obstruction, or suspected ulcer malignancy, timely surgery is recommended. Diarrhea treatment 1. Etiological treatment: Diarrhea caused by intestinal infection must be treated with anti-infection treatment, and antibacterial treatment targeting the pathogen is ideal. 2. Secretory diarrhea can easily lead to severe dehydration and electrolyte loss. In addition to eliminating the cause, you should also actively supplement salt and glucose solutions orally and intravenously to correct dehydration. 3. For diarrhea, pay attention to your diet and eat mainly light and easily digestible food. In addition, diarrhea can cause the loss of water and salt in the body, so pay attention to replenishing salt and energy. If the condition is serious, you can temporarily stop eating for a while to give your stomach and intestines a rest. Whether it is to treat diarrhea or gastric bleeding, patients must not go to the pharmacy to buy treatment drugs by themselves. After all, there are too many types of drugs on the market and their ingredients are different. Once you buy bad medicines and take them, not only will the disease not be cured, but it will make the condition more likely to get worse, and by then doctors will not be able to treat it. |
