What are the symptoms of asthma?

Asthma is a very harmful disease that can occur in people of all ages, especially children and the elderly. There are many symptoms of asthma, often manifested as shortness of breath after activity, edema of the bronchial mucosa, and difficulty breathing. If you find the above symptoms in your life, you must actively check and treat them to avoid worsening of the condition.

1. Shortness of breath after activity:

Shortness of breath after activity is the most common phenomenon of asthma, and it usually occurs when you feel shortness of breath after activity. Usually the breathing is rapid and unsustainable, like wheezing but without the sound of phlegm. This is a symptom of asthma.

2. Edema of small bronchial mucosa:

In case of inflammatory lesions, edema will occur in the mucosa of small bronchi, which is usually seen in bullae. Bullae usually develop secondary to inflammation of the small bronchi.

3. Difficulty breathing:

This is a common symptom of respiratory insufficiency. The patient subjectively feels that there is not enough air or that breathing is very difficult; and objectively it manifests as changes in respiratory rate, depth, and rhythm. This type of asthma symptom is relatively common.

Asthma can have different symptoms depending on the severity. Chronic asthma, remission and acute asthma are the three most common types. The diagnosis and treatment methods for chronic asthma are also particular. Those who have symptoms of "cough, sputum, and wheezing" of varying degrees that persist for more than one month. It should also be noted that the usual treatment methods mainly involve forced bronchial dilation, mainly to control symptoms.

The above are the symptoms of asthma introduced by experts. If you also experience shortness of breath after activity, or edema of the bronchial mucosa and difficulty breathing, it is recommended that you go to the hospital for professional examination as soon as possible and consult an expert for treatment suggestions.
