Nowadays, people pay more attention to health preservation. Once they find a disease in their body, they will give treatment as soon as possible. However, there are many treatment methods for some diseases. Some patients will choose Western medicine because it is fast, and some patients will choose Chinese medicine because it can eradicate the disease. So, is it effective to boil Chinese medicine into paste? First, is it effective to boil Chinese medicine into paste? The preparation method of decoction paste, also known as paste, is named after its dosage form. The paste is generally composed of about 20 kinds of Chinese medicine and has a good tonic effect. Chinese medicine paste should be soaked and boiled first. Add an appropriate amount of water to a special container for the slices and soak them fully for 2 hours. After mixing the medicine evenly, put it into a container with a lid. A casserole is the best container, but a copper pot, enamel pot, or aluminum pot can also be used. However, do not use an iron pot to avoid causing a chemical reaction. Then add an appropriate amount of cold water to soak it. Generally, the water should be 15 cm higher than the surface of the medicine. The soaking time is about 2 hours. In this way, the effective ingredients in the medicine can be easily decocted. Second, Chinese medicine paste should be concentrated and collected, the liquid medicine should be filtered through an 80-mesh sieve and placed in a copper medicine pot, and the other finely decocted liquid medicine should be added, heated to boiling, and the floating foam should be skimmed off. Put the decocted medicine liquid on low heat again to evaporate and concentrate, and constantly stir the medicine liquid with chopsticks or bamboo sticks to prevent it from scorching. Gradually form a thick paste. While it is still hot, use chopsticks or bamboo sticks to take the concentrated medicine liquid and drop it on dry parchment paper. Stop when there is no water mark around the drops of paste. This is called clear paste. As for precious medicines such as ginseng and cordyceps, they should not be decocted together with other medicines to avoid waste. They should be decocted separately over low heat to make a thick juice, which can be poured into the paste when it is being dried. Alternatively, ginseng and cordyceps can be ground into fine powder and added to the paste when it is being dried. This way, their medicinal effects can be fully exerted. Is it effective to boil Chinese medicine into ointment? The effect is quite good, but there are some contraindications to taking the ointment. Stop taking the medicine during cold, fever, or food poisoning. It can be postponed during the active period of acute or chronic disease. "In an emergency, treat the symptoms; in a non-emergency, treat the root cause." People who have recently fallen ill must first expel the evil spirits and then use ointments to slowly treat the root cause. Otherwise, it will be like keeping the enemy inside, which is not conducive to the treatment of the disease. |
