Can I still exercise if I have sore muscles? How to solve it?

Muscle soreness is a common symptom of muscle abnormality, but in most cases muscle soreness is caused by fatigue. Because the muscles are under great pressure and exercise produces a lot of lactic acid accumulation that cannot be released, causing muscle soreness and swelling. This is fatal for athletes, so, can you still exercise if you have muscle soreness? How to solve it?

1. Before you fully recover, you must not do any exercise that causes muscle soreness. Otherwise, more and more small injuries will accumulate together, the situation will become worse, and it will be more painful.

2. Rest before exercise is very important because physical strength needs to be restored, energy needs to be replenished, oxygen needs to be replaced, and at the same time, new muscles need to be generated and excitatory hormones need to be released. You can completely relax your body and mind and organize your thoughts, which can increase the fun of the exercise cooldown stage.

3. Reasonable and regular rest can help muscles recover quickly, so that you can reach the peak of athletic performance in the competition.

4. There is no absolute answer to whether you can continue exercising when you are sore. It depends on your personal situation, the content of the exercise, and the goals you want to achieve:

How to exercise:

1. In most cases, it is appropriate to perform low-intensity, long-term aerobic exercise (such as brisk walking) when you are sore.

2. Mild aerobic exercise can temporarily relieve soreness and speed up the body's recovery after training. Weight training usually involves dividing the body into several large areas. For example: I trained my chest on Monday, and when I returned to the gym to train my legs on Wednesday, I still felt my chest muscles were tight and sore, but do I need to stop my leg training on Wednesday? Probably not necessary.
