Fritillaria cirrhosa is a very precious traditional Chinese medicine with high edible value. It is becoming more and more popular among people. Fritillaria cirrhosa can relieve cough and reduce phlegm, and can also lower blood pressure. Especially now that more and more people have high blood pressure, patients with high blood pressure can take this medicine appropriately. 1. Antitussive and expectorant effects Animal experiments have shown that the total alkaloids and non-alkaloid parts of Fritillaria thunbergii have an antitussive effect when administered orally to mice (ammonia-induced cough method). The total alkaloids and Fritillaria thunbergii saponins I, II, and III were extracted from the wild and cultivated dark purple Fritillaria thunbergii in northwest Sichuan. Experiments have shown that total biotin has no antitussive effect on mice (sulfur dioxide-induced cough method). Oral administration of Fritillaria saponin II to mice (0.2g/kg) can significantly prolong the latency period of cough. Shows antitussive effect. Oral administration of the fluid extract of 70% ethanol extracted from domestic and wild Fritillaria cirrhosa had no obvious antitussive effect (ammonia cough induction method). The phenol red excretion method of mice proved that oral administration of domestic and wild Fritillaria cirrhosa fluid extracts, Fritillaria cirrhosa bioalkali and Fritillaria cirrhosa saponins No. Ⅰ to No. Ⅲ all had expectorant effects to varying degrees, among which bioalkali and saponin No. Ⅲ had stronger effects. 2. Effect on blood pressure Intravenous injection of 4.2 mg/kg of Fritillary Bulbine to cats can produce a persistent decrease in blood pressure accompanied by transient respiratory depression. Sibenin also has a hypotensive effect on anesthetized dogs. Very small amounts of fritillary alkaloids and fritillary alkaloids can increase blood pressure, while large amounts of bioalkali can cause blood pressure to drop. 3. Effect on blood sugar Intravenous injection of 7.5 mg/kg of Fritillary Bulbine to rabbits can increase blood sugar and maintain it for more than 2 hours. 4. Effect on smooth muscle Sibeline has a significant relaxant effect on the isolated intestine of guinea pigs, the duodenum of rabbits and the small intestine of dogs in vivo. This effect is not antagonized by neostigmine and barium chloride. Its antispasmodic effect is similar to that of papaverine. Fritillary alkaloids at a concentration of 1:167000 to 1:50000 can increase the tension of the isolated uterus of guinea pigs. 5. Other effects The alcohol extract of Fritillaria cirrhosa can improve the mice's tolerance to hypoxia at normal pressure and has an inhibitory effect on the growth and reproduction of Escherichia coli and Staphylococcus aureus. The water extract of Fritillaria cirrhosae (1:25) has an inhibitory effect on Nocardia sphaeroides in vitro. |
