What to do if you suffer from sudden deafness? Treatment methods to know

Sudden deafness is also called sudden deafness. The onset of sudden deafness is very rapid, and many people do not know what to do about sudden deafness. Generally speaking, sudden deafness can be treated with medication, and some patients with sudden deafness can recover on their own.

1. General treatment

Patients should be hospitalized as much as possible, rest in bed, and limit water and salt intake.

2. Nerve nutrition drugs

Drugs such as vitamin A, vitamin B1, vitamin B12, oryzanol and energy mixture (ATP, coenzyme A, cytochrome C) should be used as early as possible.

3. Vasodilators

Mainly used for sudden deafness caused by vascular diseases. Niacin is taken orally, injected into a muscle, or injected into a vein. Add 1-2 mg of histamine phosphate to 250 ml of normal saline or 500 ml of 5% glucose and drip intravenously (pay attention to the drip rate and patient reaction). 0.1% procaine 250-500ml intravenous drip can also be used.

4. Low molecular weight dextran

It can reduce blood viscosity, reduce red blood cell aggregation, and improve capillary circulation. 500ml of 10% low molecular weight dextran can be used for intravenous drip, and then 500ml can be dripped every 6 hours for a total of 3 days.

5. Hormone drugs

Early application has better effect, including ACTH, prednisone, prednisolone and dexamethasone. Corticosteroids are effective for retrocochlear deafness caused by nerve damage and viruses. ACTH can break down ATP into AMP, and cyclic AMP can reduce platelet aggregation; ACTH also has the function of breaking down triglycerides. 40u subcutaneous injection, combined with 10000u of heparin subcutaneously, 2 or 3 times a week for two weeks, can inhibit or alleviate vasculitis.
