How to treat hemorrhoids? 3 common methods are the most effective

The incidence of hemorrhoids is high, especially when people sit for a long time, like to eat spicy food, have irregular diet, etc., which can cause hemorrhoids. When hemorrhoids occur, it will have a great impact on our normal work and life. To treat hemorrhoids, you can choose laser treatment or surgical treatment.

1. Laser treatment method :

Hemorrhoids are a relatively common treatment. Laser therapy uses a strong electromagnetic field generated by high power density to ionize tissues, produce free radicals, and destroy the binding force of cells. When the laser beam is absorbed by living tissue after being condensed, it can coagulate, burn, carbonize or vaporize the tissue in a short period of time, thereby achieving the purpose of cutting tissue and coagulating blood vessels. It is one of the common treatments for hemorrhoids.

2. Surgical treatment:

1. Indications for surgery: Ineffective conservative treatment, severe hemorrhoid prolapse, large fibrotic internal hemorrhoids, poor treatment with injections, combined with anal fissures, anal fistulas, etc.;

2. Surgical principles: Reset the prolapsed anal cushion through surgery and preserve the structure of the anal cushion as much as possible, so as to minimize the impact on the ability to control bowel movements after surgery;

3. Preoperative preparation: When there are ulcers or infections on the surface of hemorrhoids, first perform conservative treatment such as laxatives and warm water sitz baths, and then perform surgery after the ulcers heal; do intestinal preparation.

4. Surgical method: ① Thrombosed hemorrhoidectomy is suitable for patients whose pain does not ease or the swelling does not shrink after conservative treatment of thrombosed hemorrhoids. ② Traditional hemorrhoidectomy, namely external peeling and internal ligation. ③Hemorrhoidectomy (whitehead surgery) is a classic procedure in textbooks, which can easily lead to anal stenosis and is rarely used in clinical practice. ④ PPH surgery stapler hemorrhoidal rectal mucosal circumcision and stapling. It was created by Italian doctor Longo and began to be promoted in 1998. It is mainly suitable for prolapsed III-IV grade mixed hemorrhoids, annular hemorrhoids, and some severe bleeding II grade internal hemorrhoids. The mechanism of PPH in treating prolapsed hemorrhoids: circular resection of 2 to 3 cm mucosa and submucosal tissue at the lower end of the rectum to restore the normal anatomical structure, that is, the anal cushions are returned to their original position; the resection of the submucosal tissue blocks the blood supply of the superior hemorrhoidal artery to the hemorrhoidal area, causing the hemorrhoids to shrink after surgery. Compared with traditional hemorrhoidectomy, PPH surgery has shorter operation time, less postoperative pain, faster recovery and fewer complications, but the equipment is more expensive.

5. Postoperative treatment: observe whether any complications occur, pay attention to diet, and maintain smooth bowel movements.

3. Methods of internal hemorrhoid injection:

This is the most widely used and common method for treating hemorrhoids in China. This method is simple, quick, effective and causes little pain to patients. However, patients with acute hemorrhoids accompanied by thrombosis, long-term prolapse of external and internal hemorrhoids, anal fistula, anal fissure, anal sinusitis, proctocolitis, and those with severe hemorrhoid erosion should not receive injection treatment immediately. It is best to use other treatment methods instead.
