What are the precautions after Lip Knife surgery?

Many of my friends may not have heard of what the Lip Knife is. In fact, the Lip Knife is a high-frequency radio wave knife, which is mainly used for some minimally invasive surgeries, and the Lip Knife also has the effect of stopping bleeding. After the Lipknife surgery, it is also necessary to prevent infection and recuperate.

The Lip Knife, also known as the ultra-high frequency radio wave knife, is a professional technology developed in recent years that is specifically used for minimally invasive diagnosis and treatment of cervical diseases. The tip of the electrode generates a high-frequency radio wave of 3.8 MHz. When it comes into contact with the body, the tissue absorbs the high-frequency radio wave due to its own impedance and generates high heat instantly.

The Lip Knife uses directional radio frequency wave emission technology. In the radio frequency wave field in the local tissue of the emitter, the radio frequency energy directly excites the liquid polar molecules in the tissue to produce plasma oscillations, breaking the molecular bonds. Under low temperature (40℃~70℃), it can achieve a fine and minimally invasive cutting effect. The frictional heat effect of molecular wave vibration is used to stop bleeding, tissue ablation and contraction.

1. Precautions after Lip Knife Surgery

1. Prevent infection after surgery, give antibiotics for 5-7 days, and prevent bleeding;

2. Vaginal discharge begins 2 to 3 days after surgery and is normal if it lasts for 2 to 4 weeks;

3. 1-2 weeks after the operation, the cervical wound will begin to bleed slightly after the scabs fall off, and the bleeding will stop on its own in about 4-6 weeks. If the bleeding is more than the menstrual cycle volume or gradually increases, the patient needs to return to the hospital for follow-up immediately;

4. Follow-up visits should be conducted 1-2 months after surgery to check wound healing and, if necessary, topical medications should be used to promote epithelial repair;

5. Sexual intercourse, bathing and washing are prohibited for 2 months after surgery;

6. Do not ride a bicycle or lift heavy objects for one month after the operation.

2. What are the dietary restrictions after Lipknife surgery?

1. Avoid foods that may easily cause recurrence of the disease: such as mutton, shrimp, crab, black fish, longan, red dates, donkey-hide gelatin, royal jelly and other hot foods; avoid spicy foods such as peppers, raw onions, raw garlic, and white wine;

2. Eat more foods that can promote wound healing and the patient's body recovery: such as lean meat, chicken, eggs, cabbage, celery, spinach, cucumber, winter melon, mushrooms, tofu, kelp, seaweed, eat more fruits and other nutritious foods.
