What to do if your eyes hurt due to overuse of eyes?

Eye fatigue is very common. Excessive use of the eyes can easily cause eye fatigue, and may also cause symptoms such as eye swelling and pain. As for what to do if your eyes hurt due to overuse of your eyes, be sure to get more rest. Give your eyes proper rest and you can also relieve eye pain through massage.

1. Overuse of eyes and eye fatigue leading to eye pain should first stop working and do not overuse your eyes. You can take a rest and wash your eyes with warm water. Then apply eye protection cream and massage appropriately. Do some exercise. It can speed up blood circulation and allow the eye muscles to return to normal quickly. Do not rub the eyes excessively with your hands, as this can easily cause muscle relaxation. Allow your eyes to fully rest and gradually return to normal. Eat more foods rich in vitamins and protein to supplement necessary nutrients. Eye pain caused by excessive use is usually due to the eye muscles not getting enough rest, which causes blood vessel congestion and muscle stiffness, thus causing pain. So relax and rest first, and do a proper massage.

2. In addition to making adjustments immediately, pay attention to eye hygiene and avoid staring at one place for a long time, especially computer or TV screens. Excessively bright stimulation can easily cause eye fatigue, leading to blurred vision, tearing, dry eyes, redness, swelling, congestion, dark circles and other problems. Therefore, to protect your eyes, you must get enough rest first.

3. Usually you should take a ten-minute break after using your eyes for half an hour to an hour. Don't wait until your eyes are tired before you think about taking a rest. Instead, do a massage, drink more tea, chrysanthemum water, or cassia seed, then stand up and look out the window. Move your eyes left and right several times. If you feel any pain, close your eyes for a while and rest for a while.

4. Use your eyes scientifically in daily life and do not work when your eyes are overly tired. It is easy to cause eye damage and harm to the eyes. You can eat foods that cleanse the liver and improve eyesight, such as liver, spinach or other green vegetables. You should learn to rest when you are tired, and be careful not to let your eyes work in a tired state for a long time, otherwise it will easily cause serious damage.
