How to effectively treat weak limbs

How to effectively treat weak limbs

Of course, you need to pay attention to reasonable conditioning and treatment for weakness in the limbs. If it is caused by spleen and stomach problems, then you must pay attention to regulating the spleen and stomach, and also pay attention to nourishing the liver and blood. You should pay attention to rest and maintenance at ordinary times, and combine work and rest at work.

Step 1: Regulate the spleen and stomach

The spleen and stomach are the source of the production and transformation of qi and blood. In "Lingshu?Jueqi", it is said that "the middle burner receives qi and takes juice, which changes and becomes red, which is called blood". It is believed that blood is produced through the transportation and transformation of the spleen and stomach. The spleen has the function of controlling blood, so when treating blood diseases, it is necessary to pay attention to regulating the spleen and stomach.

For diet adjustment, you can eat more pumpkin, yam, lotus seeds, lentils, coix seeds and other foods that strengthen the spleen and stomach. In addition, you can also decoct "Ginseng, Astragalus and Atractylodes Tea": take 5 grams of Codonopsis pilosula, 5 grams of Astragalus, 3 grams of Atractylodes, 3 grams of Chinese yam, and 3 grams of Cimicifuga, take 400 grams of the decoction, brew 5 grams of flower tea, and drink it until the taste is light. It has the effect of nourishing the spleen and replenishing qi, raising yang and stopping diarrhea.

Step 2: Nourishing the Liver and Blood

The liver stores blood, is responsible for the regulation of Qi, and helps the spleen and stomach to function. Therefore, nourishing the liver and blood is the basis of regulating Qi and blood.

Traditional Chinese medicine believes that "liver depression leads to spleen deficiency". Depressed and angry emotions can damage the liver and spleen, leading to depletion of qi and blood. In addition, "when a person lies down, the blood returns to the liver." Scientific research has found that when a person is sleeping, the blood flow entering the liver is 7 times that when he is standing. The increase in blood flow to the liver is beneficial to enhancing liver cell function and improving detoxification capacity. Therefore, avoid getting angry, staying up late, and don't overwork your body. Traditional Chinese medicine believes that "prolonged viewing will damage the blood". When working in front of a computer, you should pay special attention to the rest and maintenance of your eyes to prevent damage to qi and blood.

Step 3: Eat Medicinal Food

To replenish qi, you can take "Sijunzi Decoction", which comes from "Taiping Huimin Hejijufang" in the Song Dynasty. It has the effect of replenishing qi and strengthening the spleen. Take 10 grams of ginseng, 9 grams of Atractylodes macrocephala, 9 grams of Poria cocos, and 6 grams of roasted licorice, and stew them with mutton. "Siwu Decoction" can be used to replenish blood. This recipe was first written in "Xian Shou Li Shang Xu Duan Secret Prescription" written by Lin Daoren in the Tang Dynasty. It is a classic prescription for nourishing blood in traditional Chinese medicine. Take 9 grams each of white peony root, angelica root, rehmannia root and chuanxiong, put them into 250 ml of water, boil until 150 ml remains, and drink it hot on an empty stomach.

In addition, using Chinese medicinal herbs such as angelica, Chuanxiong, safflower, rehmannia, peach kernel, Polygonum multiflorum, wolfberry, donkey-hide gelatin, and salvia miltiorrhiza together with blood-enriching ingredients such as red dates, longan meat, hawthorn, spinach, carrots, black fungus, black sesame, pork liver, pig blood, black chicken, and brown sugar can make delicious medicinal meals, which have a good effect of regulating the endocrine system and nourishing the blood.

Step 4: Keep away cold evil

Traditional Chinese medicine believes that "blood flows when it is warm and coagulates when it is cold". Cold evil can cause blood stasis, block the smooth flow of meridians, and hinder the production of qi and blood, which can easily lead to joint diseases, gastrointestinal discomfort, or induce cough.

When going out in winter, be sure to wear a hat, gloves, scarf, etc. At home, avoid eating cold food, soaking your feet in warm water, and massaging frequently. The elderly often suffer from insufficient qi and blood, so they need to pay more attention.

Step 5: Exercise More

Exercise is an essential part of regulating Qi and blood. It helps the spleen and stomach convert nutrients into Qi and blood, allowing people to eat well and sleep well. In addition, it can dredge the meridians and promote the circulation of qi and blood.

In addition to traditional Chinese medicine health care, you can also do appropriate exercise on a regular basis, such as jogging, swimming, playing ball, yoga, Tai Chi, etc. People with cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases should warm up before exercise to mobilize the joints and reduce the burden on the heart.
