What to do with soft tissue injury

In most cases, there is no bleeding in soft tissue injuries, but edema is the most likely problem. Especially if there is a fracture, you must go to the hospital for diagnosis and treatment. If there is edema, you can use ice to relieve the pain.

1. If it is a general soft tissue injury, that is, there is no bleeding or edema, then there is basically no big problem. Just massage and knead it more often, and you don’t need to go to the hospital. It may be very painful at the beginning, and you may think that you have a broken finger. Then go to the hospital for a diagnosis first to ensure that there is no risk.

2. If bleeding occurs, bandage it quickly. Don't tie it too tightly to avoid affecting your academic flow. Try to keep yourself comfortable. Go to the hospital for a checkup and see if you need an IV or blood transfusion.

3. If edema occurs, first find some ice cubes, or buy ice popsicles, and quickly apply cold compresses to the injured area to minimize the pain, because ice cubes have an analgesic effect. Then use this time to go to the hospital for a check-up, because many conditions cannot be seen with the naked eye.

4. If the soft tissue is indeed very serious after examination in the hospital, then surgery may be necessary. Only surgery can completely help the soft tissue to complete the academic cycle to avoid more serious consequences.

5. After surgery, because the wound has not healed yet, you should try to avoid eating spicy food, such as chili peppers and hot pot. These are not advisable.

6. Therefore, when exercising, you should wear some protective gear, such as those on your wrists and ankles. Once soft tissue injury occurs, go to the hospital as soon as possible. After all, the hospital is more authoritative.
